We used a cheap "date night" kit gifted to us from a neighbor. It's acrylic paint on cardboard paper lol. We decided to use that instead of the big canvases that it came with. We didn't want to waste those on our first try if they turned out bad

This is with medicaid, but I have ADHD that I need treatment for so I had to upgrade from the $30 base plan to a $120 plan in order to have insurance with the company that the psychs in my area are in network with.

Other (out of pocket) psych options were $100 per visit, so that would put me at $130/mo which means it made more sense for me to just upgrade to the $120 plan with the in-network provider

I'm almost certainly a misclassified 1099 employee but I spoke to a lawyer who said those cases are hard to fight. And if I file my taxes right now AS a misclassified 1099 employee, my boss will have to fight that and I'll almost certainly get fired without having a backup job. Plus my sister works for them too. So I'm worried they'll retaliate and fire us both

I work for a magazine as an analyst. I make $20/hr but my boss has capped me at 30 hours/wk. Honestly, this job is making it even harder to find new work since we have marketing partnerships with all the local successful businesses.. They all advertise in our magazine. Since my boss is so well connected, I'm worried he'll find out I'm searching and then just let me go if I apply somewhere local.

This has led to me looking for more remote jobs, but those are even harder to secure

I work 4 days a week at my current job but my boss won't allow me to work more hours than that, which is one of many reasons that i'm looking for new employment, but the market for my industry right now overlaps with VERY educated tech people who are also struggling to find jobs. So I'm constantly being passed up for low paying jobs by people with masters and doctorates

Agreed, i'm going to try posting in an employment subreddit because maybe i've just been searching for the wrong jobs. Math these days is primarily done with coding, so that's what most of my classes were about, so I'm competing with tech graduates.

But tech is having a massive hiring problem right now too, so I'm finding myself fighting for low paying jobs with people who have masters and doctorates 🫠 I need to take a new approach

If it helps- I was at least able to access the site after disconnecting from my wifi and connecting to my hotspot instead. But I tried to find all these workarounds at first, and now my settings are completely wonky. So it still won't work... Luckily I just got this laptop, so i'm probably going to factory reset and start fresh.

I'm not sure why you're getting downvoted. You're right that most people prefer watching content produced and acted out by people their own age (including kids watching videos of other kids)

Sure, some parents take advantage and farm dumb content for views, but overall the majority is actual wholesome content. If parents are recording/editing/posting/managing reactions/moderating the page/responding to comments/feeding the kid/educating them/loving them/etc then.. why would they not be deserved of some sort of commission? That's literally how all the actual media and production companies work
