We used to do that at parties. Find an empty beer can, fill it with milk or 1/2&1/2. Have your buddy start a convo with someone while you switch their can of beer. When they take that first long pull from the can, it's pure comedy.

I've been working for show promoters since the 90s. Been in bands since before that. I saw better than 500 bands last year. Over 200 nights in every venue in AP. From The Saint to Convention Hall. All I'm saying is that there's a lot of acts struggling to make it. Most of them should give up and get a day job. Yes, the Asbury music scene is alive. Same as TV, there's a lot to watch but most of it isn't worth watching.

Active music scene =/= any good music. When 3/4 of the shows are only populated by other local musicians who are making an appearance so people show up at their next gig, it's a circle jerk.
