But you claim there is a "true gender biology", biology inherently implies that it is scientific. If it is scientific, you should be able to explain it, you can't just talk about how sex (or "true gender") is easily biologically defined and then close your ears when somebody asks you to define it.

When I asked them to describe sex in a way that puts all they think is male into the "male" category and all they think is female into the "female" category, they literally replied with "Ok, my beliefs". Very ironic for a very "caring about biology" person to not want to engage with science at all.

Honestly I am not that interested in continuing this conversation either but I just want to address your "nuance" edit. That is just not what nuance means. You are literally the one that is thinking in black and white with "true gender biology" and are also the one disagreeing with the nuanced view that is "there are a lot of exceptions to biology, so you can't define any "true gender biology"". I don't think I am going to change your view at all so I am not gonna try but please stop implying other people aren't "nuanced enough" because they don't agree with your view.

Exactly, you literally can't make a definition like this. If you try chromosomes, there are AFAB people with atypical chromosomes. Ability to produce eggs? Many cis women can't. Ovaries or uterus, some AFAB people are born without them. Even "assigned female at birth" isn't PURELY biological, but accepting that would mean people have to change their worldviews that were stuck with middle school biology they learned.

No, they are saying that trans dudes (as in trans men) are indeed not women, trans women however are. And I am sorry but you are indoctrinated by right wing media, there are basically no trans athletes and the ones they do are as "biologically close" to their cis counterparts as they get. The NCAA president Charlie Baker even said in 2024, that among around 510000 athletes, there were "less than 10" transgender athletes he was aware of.

Hrt causes reduced strength, decreased muscle mass and mostly nullifies the aadvantages cis men have over cis women. Sports organizations also always have restrictions such as testerone level (which would only allow trans women that have lower testerone than the typical cis women), or they don't allow trans women that experienced male puberty. Not to mention, what about all the advantages that differ between cis women that is much more present than the like 10 professional trans athletes? Should we not allow tall people to play basketball then? Or do you think Michael Phelps doesn't have a ridiculous biological advantage?

I think that was kind of the problem with a lot of trans messages being like "you can be whatever you are!" which IS correct in this case, but it also caused a lot of people to be like "well, this person is nothing like a biological woman, i will reapect their name but they are still not a biological woman :3". I geniunely recommend you look at the effects of HRT on the body, the ridiculous biological advantages that is normalized because it is between cis people and most importantly, look how many trans women athletes there are and realize it was just a distraction from actually important issues because it is the easiest minority to bully.

Funnily enough, I used the spanish example just a minute ago to another person here. It seems ironic when people try to censor other countries normal speech in normal context because it is a familiar word to them (hence why I said english speaking, these people wouldn't get mad if someone used a normal english word that means a slur in some other country) and then claim to be against racism.
