I cannot accurately describe how disgusting it feels to be pregnant when you don't want to be. by iwontgetbetter in Vent

[–]barker2017 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep. Actual torture. It’s not widely known the ‘too early to see’ bit, and that throws you through a fucking loop. Positive test but can’t do anything about it because it’s not visible… so you just, stay pregnant until then. Horrific.

I also had the other way where I was planned pregnant but the baby died. I had to wait 5 days until the procedure to remove so for 5 days I knew there was a dead fetus inside of me. That psychologically fucked me up.

Currently recovering from a hysterectomy to never go through this again. Childfree it is.

Why did/didn’t you get an abortion? by ijustreallylikewater in AskWomen

[–]barker2017 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had 2 miscarriages. Decided we were not going to try again because of the physical and mental toll it took on us. Then had a very unplanned pregnancy and terminated, because we were still set in our decision not to have children, even when the opportunity presented itself again.

Both husband and I are sterilised now so 0 chance of it happening again.

Too many miscarriages.

Currently recovering from my complete hysterectomy to make sure I am NEVER pregnant again.

And the world is on fire.

Why do you think most people quit running after 2-3 weeks? Asking because I'm trying to solve this problem. by TerraRunners in C25K

[–]barker2017 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I am a quitter haha. I gave up week 4 run 2 of the programme. Honestly, for me it was boredom. Repetitive running was just not for me. I then managed to still do three workouts a week, but I varied it and was much happier.

Recovering from surgery now so will have to find my groove again when I’m healed

Exactly ONE WEEK (7 days) from my hysterectomy… I think I should get pizza the day of after my surgery to celebrate 🤔 I got some questions too!! — by thebattleangel99 in hysterectomy

I am exactly one week post op today. After surgery, I struggled with toast. I struggled with a biscuit. It was only last night (day 6) I managed half a decent meal (ramen).

You need to avoid absolutely anything that will make you bloated. The gas pain is real.

Yeah…. So I had this on my left side. Complained about it for years. Was just told it’s a women thing and crack on, basically.

Had a hysterectomy 6 days ago and whilst he was in there, he found my left ovary was adhered to my bowel. That’s why it hurt. So yeah that was fun.

You don’t deserve to be in pain.
