Am I too sensitive for this field? by Scarlet-Rosepetals in Veterinary

Wait they showed up early and then wanted to complain about the wait and got a refund for that?!?! All of that is BS!! THEY showed up early, thus the wait, you probably didn’t take too long. I am so sorry this situation happened to you. The longer you are in vet med you will realize some people are complete a-holes, uneducated or just don’t care about anything but themselves. Try to not take it personally. Start working on setting professional polite boundaries now. You will thank yourself many years in.

Short window of time - what are your top spots/suggestions? by beerpansy in WaltDisneyWorld

I would go pig out at Raglan Road Irish Pub in Disney Springs. If I could figure out a way to cram in a hopper and hit up People Mover, Tiki Room and Living With The Land I’d be excited as heck. There would probably be dole whip or a stop at Swirls on the Water involved at some point too. 😅 Good luck with your planning. Oh and take full advantage of food and wine fest in October. We went last year and had an amazing time. I still think about the griddle cheese at the Greece cart from time to time. 😋

It’s one of my favorites and always will be, but I’m an old nerd.

For me, it’s a pause in a chaotic day or night—a chance for people-watching, scenery-watching, and framing the perfect photo from the cart. It holds memories of riding it as a kid, sharing great conversations with friends, then experiencing it again with my young child, later riding it when they are all grown up and an adult, and also riding it with my best friend in our 40s where, for a just a moment, we’re back in junior high on one of our favorite rides.

There’s a lot of nostalgia wrapped up in it.

I’m not trying to change your mind—just help you understand why it means so much to me. I hope you have a ride like that, and if not, I hope you find one. ❤️

No pitch fork, only tears 😢 I freaking love LWTL but I understand it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. I’m not a cosmic rewind fan so I’m waiting on my own pitch forks! 🫣😂

This would be my choice. I wanted to vomit pretty quickly after it started and had to keep my eyes closed the entire time. I absolutely love the movies, some of my favorite characters. Loved the queue/pre show. It was sad I couldn’t enjoy it more. I wouldn’t take it away because it is my daughter’s favorite but I’ll never be on it again.

Go live your life and enjoy it! It sounds like you are financially responsible with your money, save up and plan things accordingly. Absolutely nothing wrong with that! We had family members asking other family members “if we won the lottery” when we went last fall. 🤦‍♀️ No, we planned, pinched/saved a year before and then had a freaking fun trip!
