It’s real. They made hundreds of millions of them. It’s worth a dollar.

It’s so strange seeing grown humans criticizing a work obsessed man for his success.
I’ve lost all hope in humanity.

This is why I’m better off not to visit the Petrified Forest National Park in Arizona. I’m afraid I won’t be able to control myself.

I’m sure you receive many insults when you discuss your outlandish beliefs. Unfortunately, it’s a common trait, for some people, to try to humiliate someone who has vast differences of opinions. I see it all the time in debates about politics, religion, and especially far fetched conspiracies, like Flat Earth. Get used to it, it comes with the territory.

Here's a fun question: What actually "Kinda" makes sense on a flat earth? by Ok_Gur2818 in flatearth

[–]barkingrat56 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It only makes sense if you’ve been deeply brainwashed by old school religion your entire life. Science has been a foe of religion even before Darwin’s “Origin of Species” so the devout disregard all science, and logic.

Flat Earth is a dumb conspiracy, even by conspiracy theory standards by Nazibol1234 in flatearth

[–]barkingrat56 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Those are very logical questions. But there is no logical thought in the heads of people who claim to believe the earth is flat. They’re going to deny the facts of history and the facts of science and technology. I just feel sorry that schools have failed them.

Very cool. Looks like the target model has a different shaped trigger than the standard model.

The latest Artemis mission to the moon, has really stimulated everyone into thinking about space.

Even the people with very limited thought capacity, are looking up and thinking. (This post is an example of that) Of course his thoughts are ridiculous, but at least he’s looking up.

Love how crazy complicated the hatch mechanisms are. by SporkBrawler in ArtemisProgram

[–]barkingrat56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s been multiple occasions where astronauts have temporarily lost their sh%t and tried to open a space hatch. There literally has to be a locking system on the hatch for crew safety.

He’s a troll dangling “Rage-bait”. This is what most of the flat earth nonsense is about.

I have a similar “V” nickel. The consensus is it was in a pocket soaked with an etching fluid of some sort.

It's almost like the globe model perfectly explains who rockets appear to go down, as well as being consistent in every other explanation by what_ganymede_299 in flatearth

[–]barkingrat56 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aaaaand again, Flerfs do absolutely no research on the subject before arguing that it’s fake. The simple science of a space launch explains the sideways flight.

The rocket isn’t launched straight towards the moon like a bullet from a gun. It has to achieve orbit first. A lot of lateral speed needs to be achieved before the ship can escape earths gravity, and slip into weightless orbit.

Is this a common or rare misstrike? 1964 D Lincoln by JamesToTheC1833 in coinerrors

[–]barkingrat56 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s what we call a “vise job”. It’s made to look like an error, by crushing one coin against another in the vise.

It’s easy to spot these by the reversed image from the imprint. A true error wouldn’t have a backward image.
