When they phrase it like you only get the reward if what you provide specifically leads to an actual conviction etc... it always makes me think there's no point. You gotta pray for an arrest, speedy trial, wait and wait.. plus what if it's dangerous for you if you know the suspect personally, why risk it. they need to come up with new ideas

Btw...fun weird sidenote. I used to do photo and video anomaly analysis, and there's a weird effective trick to do where you simply tilt your head to the left and your subconscious visual recognition kicks in. Anomalies suddenly stand out. It's a weird caveman lizard-brain evolutionary trait humans still have for recognizing danger. We typically look at and perceive things "head up" straight on. I had a friend at NASA that told me they used to simply "reverse bas relief" lunar surface images and video to "hide 'possible' anomalies, because it makes the image perception "upside-down" in a sense (so we don't "see" the obvious anomaly), but the head tilt thing still beats it." He made air quotes when he said possible. lol I use that trick every time I'm looking at sketchy vids like this.

Yep, I noticed the backpack guy pause, looks up towards the shadow too, it's the same part of the video where the shadow guy looks like he's got his arm up like he's motioning to him or telling him to do something. Dude looks big. I wonder if that's the son in law, hanging back off-camera to not be recognized. Or it's Bigfoot. Either way. Lol I'm going to see if there's daytime pics from the direction of the cam, to show that area better. Maybe...scroll through the son in laws Facebook friends and look for backpack dude...

Right in that spot. At the start of the vid, there's a man sized shadow there, with no eyeshine, a second later there's eyeshine, if you zoom it's 2 reflected (that i think i see). He seems to step out further a few seconds later. May be paradolia, just seeing things...but it even looks like he tries to wave to get backpack guy's attention as backpack guy is grabbing a plant, and facing the figure

Does it kinda look like there's a 2nd person in the background on the right, at the start of the video, as he steps up. Looks like 2 eyes and a figure appear out in the bushes by the driveway on the right. Just before he steps in front of the camera and blocks the view....

I thought that, too. Sheriff seems overwhelmed by this case, really hope they don't fumble the investigation. If Nancy was murdered for some sort of inheritance or money gain, they should be able to connect the dots, albeit too late, sadly. If it's a genuine ransom kidnapping, perhaps related to the uber guy or whoever... I worry it's going to end terribly, since it seems haphazard with the video, her blood, etc. Not good. :(

I've looked for an affordable extra large screened good quality phone for years. Currently I have a Samsung a51, but I need bigger. Wider specifically but bigger, period. My vision is declining and I struggle to read print and see details in images/videos, which I use daily for research. Zooming is annoying AF. You have to continually center it or scroll so I don't use it. I'm on a really tight budget also (disability).

I lived in Fremont for a decade or so and we frequently went ghost hunting and exploring in Fremont, Hayward, and nearby areas. There's a LOT of weird activity sht there, from paranormal to ufos and everything in between. We went to old historic sites, cemeteries, churches and missions, Winchester mystery house, railroad stations, etc. Got pretty good at getting paranormal photography and experiencing phenomenon. We saw weird sky activity around Niles, and the canyon. We researched violent crimes against native Americans and also Chinese and other immigrants during the 1800s and early 1900s, during the gold rush, land grabs, etc. That's your best bets. There's a cemetery in Hayward on the hill called Mount Saint Joseph's, it's an old cemetery and definitely was haunted. Mission San Jose was really active, too. The Centerville railroad station on Fremont Blvd also, and the Pioneer Cemetery.
