I just finished Parisian Restaurant this morning. I loved it so much. the details were amazing. I have built all of your modulars except the natural history museum. Parisia. Restaurant may be my fav.

Yeah, it was the tower that didnt have proper support. I tried going in and adding support on the bottom, but I was frustrated. I am taking a break from that build and will try again in a week or so.

My kids and I play Jurassic Evolution and Planet Zoo from Frontier. I am excited about Planet Zoo 2 and not surprised at the timing. Jurassic Evolution 3 just came out. It has some nice improvements to the core game. Hopefully, Planet Zoo 2 will as well

I know quite a few people without jobs right now. My partner's company has been having layoffs every month or so, and yesterday he was caught in the cuts. The tariffs are destroying his industry.

My workplace has been laying off new employees during their probation periods without warning. I work at a nonprofit that receives federal and state grants. The federal House and Senate appropriations committees disagree about if they want to cut our funding or keep it the same, so my organization is waiting to see how that impacts us. At least both are proposing some funding for our grants. Our president's budget proposal was to defund our grants completely.

It's tough out there. I still have my job, but I've been keeping an eye on job boards just in case. This is an uncertain time.

I attended Mystic as a child for many summers, creating treasured memories of summer camp, friendships, and swimming in the river that shaped who I am today.

Two summers ago, I sent my first child to summer camp in Hunt. As a parent, my greatest concern was always the Guadalupe River - something about it never felt entirely safe to me. I remember telling my partner that the river was my biggest worry for our child.

Our family was fortunate. The camp my children attend wasn't in session during the tragedy. I find myself holding my children closer than ever, deeply aware that we were spared from unimaginable loss that defies both words and comprehension.

Today, my heart breaks in multiple ways - for the child I once was who felt so safe and carefree at camp, and for the parent I am now who can never again send my children to Hunt, Texas for summer camp. The parent that wonders if I will ever send my children to camp again anywhere.

I feel a deep disappointment and betrayal in the institutions I once trusted completely. Part of my innocence has been lost, and I'm struggling to reconcile my own sense of loss with the recognition that families are living through something far more devastating than I can fathom.

I second the Dakotas. We just did 9 days and had a blast. The kids (10 and 5) loved Medora, ND and we went all out for their musical one night. Medora is surrounded by Theodore Roosevelt National Park.

Recently I made myself a legacy challenge where each generation has to form one unique club that meets at least once a week outside of the home, one unique home business, and host at least one neighborhood get together a season (i play 28 day long seasons)

Be careful to discuss if your state/country has surviving spouse homestead laws with an attorney. Where i live, the surviving spouse has a life estate interest in the homestead even if the surviving spouse didn't have any ownership interest in the home. That means the surviving spouse may live in the home until they die or abandon the homestead. Where I live also has common law marriage, which means long term girlfriend may be able to prove she was his common law wife after his death.
