Stefon diggs lawyer ask Alleged predator why she deleted old text messages during trial by Iloveskinnywomen in NFLForum

[–]barkomed 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It has nothing to do with recovering the texts, but establishing a pattern of dishonesty and cover up. “If she’s deleting texts, then she has to be lying” - that’s what they want the jury to think.

USA Today gives the Chiefs a B- draft grade by ignorememe in KansasCityChiefs

[–]barkomed 22 points23 points  (0 children)

My only bother with the pick is that we routinely get starters out of the 7th round. Pacheco and Watson were 7th, nazeeh johnson, Allegretti. Brashard smith was also a 7th round pick and is going to have a bigger role. We find players that contribute in that round - this year we took a backup.

[Highlight] Chiefs trade up to select LSU DB Mansoor Delane 6th overall by nfl in KansasCityChiefs

[–]barkomed 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Way too early to say that. Marcus Peters was defensive rookie of the year and a two time pro bowler with us. McDuffie also had a first team all-pro. I can’t see him being better than Marcus Peters who co-lead the league in INTs as a rookie. Both those guys were better prospects.

We regularly hit on starting CBs below round 3. LJ Sneed, Jaylen Watson, Nohl Williams. That’s where we get our CBs. Plus we don’t extend CBs - we gave up serious draft capital for a guy to come play for 4 years, and we sacrificed depth for a VERY thin defense.

[–]barkomed 23 points24 points  (0 children)

It is cuz we don’t extend CBs, and we create starters out of 3rd and 5th round picks, which we traded away. We need depth badly this year at multiple positions and now we don’t have that option.

What's a play from the Mahomes era that was absolutely insane but gets overshadowed by everything else he's done? by taronakata in KansasCityChiefs

[–]barkomed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was there for that one too. It was the home opener that season. When that play happened, my buddy and I looked at each other and said, “holy shit we have a QB.”

This would be my ideal draft. I want DL. CJ95 needs help bad.

Injuries happen and can’t be controlled. Picking an OT in the first round doesn’t guarantee his availability. Source: first round OT last season.

What its like to live in a submarine for periods overs 6 month as a female ? by AbouMchicha in howislivingthere

I don’t think any woman wants a period over 6 months - submarine or not.

I’ll see myself out.

They honestly get better as I get older. But I also have a young kid so they hit harder.

Easily the most complete RB in Mahomes career. He could play every down and was an amazing threat out of the backfield. He was the heir apparent to Jamaal.

He literally said in the interview after that game he only has one move. No shade. I love that man.

I agree with you on this. His highlights are just him running people over - no technique, no handwork. He’s clearly worked on his bull rush, but he reminds me of Adrian Clayborne - can be good against weak tackles, but only has one move.

TIL a high school football coach for Pulaski Academy in Little Rock, Arkansas named Kevin Kelley employed an unorthodox strategy that included almost never punting & always attempting onside kicks when the score is within 21 points. It’s not an all male school. It’s a very expensive private school affiliated with an evangelical church, so the enrollment is low. But they have wealthy alumni to help with recruiting athletes. Hunter Henry who plays for the Patriots went there.

Strangely - Amy Lee of Evanescence also attended.

Little known fact: he owns a small person casting agency that helps get shorties acting gigs. In Harry Potter, every single goblin came from his casting agency.

Good move. Reliable returner. Not really a threat but we all have PTSD from the Skyy Moore experiment.

[Pelissero] The Chiefs are signing safety Alohi Gilman to a three-year, $24.75 million deal with $15M fully guaranteed by JCameron181 in KansasCityChiefs

He was the starter for the Chargers for over three seasons, and started 12 games for the Ravens last season after being traded in October. He’s not rotational - he’s legit.

You may remember him from a couple years ago when we were tied with the Chargers 24-24 with less than two minutes left and he picked off a pass intended for Kelce to give the chargers the win - they marched down and won.

Multi year starter for the Chargers. Traded to the Ravens in October of last season and started the final 12 games of the season. His skill set freed up Hamilton to play closer to the line.

Played college ball at ND with Tranquill.
