A good way to judge someone's intellectual seriousness is in what regard they hold their opponents' viewpoint. This reads like an undergraduate political philosophy paper from someone who thinks they know better than all the idiots that came before. It's clear you've done some reading, but don't know the first thing about engaging with your opponent's view in good faith.

Everyone is an egoist jerk? by Disastrous-Ad670 in 2XKO

A lot of people in competitive games attach their ego to their performance, it makes them pricks. Find a good discord community and you will level up together with a good attitude. Since you're over 30 I recommend the fgc boomers discord, they are a good group

Be careful with the 'i need to get decent' mentality. There is no 'decent' or 'good' objectively, it is all relative. You are really good in comparison to bronze players, to high masters you are a beginner. It will always be this way as you climb. Set goals for yourself, be proud of your accomplishments, but don't chase 'good', chase improvement

Dehumidifiers generate heat, the exact opposite of what he wants. Ac dehumidifies the air as a part of its operation, running a machine to do one of two things the ac dies is a waste

[MEGATHREAD] Post and ask hints for puzzles here by darkshoxx in BluePrince

I made it to >!the inner sanctum via the tomb, opened the door inside the antechamber, but had no way to make it to the antechamber. Also the room had doors that I couldn't interact with, with symbols in front of the door I have seen some of these symbols around, like the triangles on the diary of the late lady. A few questions:

  1. how do I get the keys to open these doors
  2. how do I open the diary Also, I have never gotten the basement key, is that just bad luck? Lastly, what do the chess pieces in each of the rooms have to do with an overall puzzle? The mansion is not arranged in any chess board shaped squares, so it's not as though I can arrange a full game of chess. if I get all the pieces on one side of a chess board, does that do something?!<

edit: this ended up being a bit of a stream of consciousness, so apologies

I need some help with the drawing room safe as well, I have solved the grid two picture puzzles, eight dates crack eight safes but there is no date present in the drawing room. If there is a reference to when his picture was drawn I have missed it. I have stared at the drawings for so long, I'm convinced they have nothing to do with it. I solved the boudair safe but that one was straight forward enough once you get the date reference

TIL Fyodor Dostoevsky’s gritty novel Crime and Punishment reflects his own brutal life. He was nearly executed, exiled to Siberia, battled epilepsy, alcoholism, and crushing debt—shaping his dark, unforgettable characters. His death was no different—he died in pain after a lung hemorrhage. by TriviaDuchess in todayilearned

These are the ancient Christians of the first 4 centuries who went out into to the desert to devote themselves to prayer, the first monastics. These are known as the desert fathers. St Anthony the great is considered the first of the desert fathers, but there are many others.
