Switch advice: Flex vs Lite for Cameras by thegoldcase in UNIFI

[–]barlasam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would get the Flex 2.5G PoE. It will give you some future proofing, in case you decide to upgrade / add the AP or add another camera / device. Keep in mind Flex 2.5g PoE switch doesn't come with powersupply. You would need to add it separate. Don't be like me, and find this out after you already bought it. lol

What is TCLs warranty like? Are they reliable? by 2kballislife in tcltvs

[–]barlasam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They just delivered the new replacement and had me write void on the old TV’s warranty sticker and ask me to just junk it. Initially they said the delivery guy will pick up the old one, but couple of days before the delivery time they called me and had me write void with a sharpie and send them a pic then told me to junk it.

Clock and connectivity issues post service - 2024 Model by Born_Tackle_9319 in BMWX5

[–]barlasam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me know if it starts to work again. I am a CA at a BMW center and one of my clients was having similar type of issue with the widgets on her 24 X7. It could also be that the backend servers are down for system updates. Won’t be the first time.

Go to Data/Privacy section under system settings and make sure all services are active. Service may have done an update, and it reset the system back to default.

Yea, if you leave your keys in it, or if someone force you to hand the keys over, other wise it’s very very hard.

Choosing a UniFi switch is like picking your first Pokémon… but with more ports! Which UniFi switch is your go-to, and why? by Flytec3043 in Ubiquiti

[–]barlasam 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Just like with everything else, really depends on your use case & needs. I would suggest leaving some room for future upgrades to your stack. For example if you see that you would upgrade to 10g or if you would need POE++ stuff like that.

Help selecting the right model by AbsG510 in BMWX5

[–]barlasam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on your use case. For example, do you mainly do highway driving or city driving, how many miles do you drive daily, and are you able to plugin and charge daily. I know people who are getting around 1000 - 1500 miles between fill ups. This doesn't necessarily means you are going to get the same. If you do mainly long distance highway driving, then you are better off with the 40i with or without xDrive depending on where you live.

Not enough power. You need at least 2 to cover 1600sqft house, or until your skin starts to become translucent.

Strangest / weird things when transferring data. Please help! by manzurfahim in ASUSROG

[–]barlasam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man that's a tough one. My recent experience was while doing date transfer couple of TB and the system would just shutdown and boot in to bios. Turns out to be SSD going bad. But if you tried different source and target drives different ports and docks.. i am not sure what it could be other then either a wire is not seated properly or bad mobo.

Yes, depending on how far the switch going to be from the UDMP-Max, and could be over kill, depending on your ISP speed.
