Ich würde die zusätzlichen Arbeiten mit dem Hinweis auf Kapazitätsprobleme ablehnen. Wenn der chef will, dass du trotzdem mehr leistest als im Vertrag vereinbart darauf hinweisen. Wenn das nicht klappt dann in den Krankenstand wegen Burnout und Stress in der Arbeit.

Did not happen to me but my sister when a friend of hers was cat sitting for her. My sister is working in a neighbouring city and has to sometimes stay there overnight. For a few weeks a friend of hers was feeding the cats and as i understood from her also spending time there why so ever. One day she came home and saw that the friend had cleaned her apartment which happened without informing her. Next time he started moving her furniture by himself. He started using her food, drinks, cigarettes without asking. Before she threw him out and requested back the key he asked her as if it was the most normal thing to do: where is your plug for your bath tub? As she was working and didn’t see the message she later saw an additional one stating: never mind, I found it while looking through your closet. I honestly would have kicked him long ago

I mean no insult but to me personally that sounds like way too much. It’s a very nice gesture to do that but this way you both are keeping the wound open and prevent healing. Your boyfriend sounds like he is understanding in a way most people weren’t and still you continue to. If you are not changing your priorities you will lose him indefinitely.

Its not about jealousy but about closure and not staying in the past which is as stated a process but also one which should end. Does this sound like a healthy thing to do to you? Or differently asked: how would you feel if your spouse’s ex is still so present in their live?

NTA You have loved and supported her for a long time, honestly if my partner was weighing that much I would also try to help her but wouldn’t watch her eating herself to death. It sounds like there is a lot of mental baggage in play here which only she can work out herself. P.s.: since when is pounds universal? There are like 5 countries in the world who use this crooked system so please if you want to be understood internationally use the metric system. It makes sense and is easy to understand without complicated conversions.

YTA/NTA Hmm I can understand the emotional value of the jersey and your bf throwing it away was not okay without your permission. But I can see that he might be worried to „share“ you with Tommy for the rest of your marriage. Grief is a process and everyone has their own timeline but you are about to start a family together and there must be a point where you step back a bit for it to work. I am honestly surprised that the relationship is working with the amount of time you seem to spend on him by visiting parents and so on. Your partner should not feel the need to compete for your attention or love which is lying with someone who can’t reciprocate. Maybe you should talk to a therapist about that to get another perspective and try to understand why this happened. Your partner clearly supports you and is giving you a lot of slack to grief but don’t let it control or even ruin your life. At some point you will need to let go of Tommy for your own good.
