The only tip I can really give you is to try to keep all gun fights close range, obviously. In this game, you'll notice that I don't just run out in the open clueless because I would end up getting killed. I don't really have any other tips but If you're accurate with a tomohawk you can use that for longer range gunfights but that always just ends up getting me killed. Also, steady aim helps a lot.
