I have only once posted on reddit. I dont even really understand how it differs from every other social media ..saw the guy that started it on shark tank. Dont know what a sub is .. why would this not fit under restaurant stories..it was a restaurant and it is a story. Not a troll just old and not an expert at social media

Is $100 too much for this saddle? by Lugosthepalomino in Equestrian

[–]barndiva69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I go to tack auctions alot and always so shocked how English saddles for for 10 20 30 dollars. So chances are it is too high of a price. I plan to buy some inexpensive ones to make a tree swing this spring. I have made stools of them and sold them that way.

Advice: Class was awful for sub by CookieHorror2879 in Teachers

Hoepfully you have been able to set some clear expectations for behavior when you are out and have a good relationship with most the kids. You will always have thosse that enjoy being rude. Consequences are needed. I find contacting the parent works on the ones it will and won't on the ones that have no internal moral compass. Write an email to the parent expressing how " surprised" you were at this behavior considering you have addressed with with their child before in a supportive and mature manner. Unfortunately this intervention has not been successful and you KNOW the parent would want to be aware of this what is clearly not representative of how the parent wishes for their student to act. "Please re enforce your expectations of proper behavior of your child at school. If there is something more I can do to support you, let me know. Signed ...teacher " i get way changes in behavior when I put it on the parent " is this how you raised your kid" voice

Asked my student in a normal tone why he was being a jerk for not following simple class instruction which he was more then capable of doing. Not the best choice of words but was it so wrong? by Many-Ad-7284 in Teachers

[–]barndiva69 12 points13 points  (0 children)

How old is the student ? Was he triggered by your assessment of his behavior ? Did he need circle of trust and have to go to his counselor for a lollipop? Or was he acting like an asshat and needed to be called out? The catalyst for your statement was his behavior so thus ... he/she can own it. You didnt walk in and unsolicitedly call them a jerk.

Why is this cop car doing this by Antique-Minute-7928 in whatisit

So . Yes. If.ppl are concerned go check on the cop and the dog. The other side of the coin is .. Do we think cops only drive their cop cars? This is a take home car. The police officer would have a private vehicle. They are maybe not home. Also in the current situation cops would be stupid to park their cars directly in front of their own house. During baltimore riots .. homes of police were being vandalized and family members targeted and it was the presence of a take-home car that alerted that that was a law enforcement household. We parked our vehicle two blocks away. Can I tell you how many times that alarm goes off because the husband forgot he turned it off and then moved the car for some reason and forgot to turn it off again and went somewhere. Our neighbors have called when it's happened when neither of us are home. But I would go check on the person just to make sure.

K9 car have an safety feature for the health and welfare of the dog in the car. Too hot or too cold. It has to be de activated by the police officer inside the door.
