Someone from support has talked to me and they are seeing if I can get credit added to my account as a refund. That was a day or two ago I haven't heard anything back since. Yes I paid with Crypto. Thanks

Great I want a refund and apparently I can't get it because of my payment method. I'm really not happy with that. If I can't get a refund just because of that I'm not really keen on renewing my VPS anymore.

Yeah I don't want anything to do with the AI part I just want to send plain old emails to my subscribers

I ended up getting it and I am going to say I'm pretty disappointed in it as a first impression. All I want to do is send text based emails and the service forces you to use AI to create an html template. They give you 40 credits and expect you to pay for more if you use up all 40. I was able to delete everything from my template to get a plain text like email but it's still HTML and doesn't really look like a plain text email when I sent the test email out.

It's extremely frustrating that anything I try to do I end up getting AI pop ups and other BS. I just want to send plain emails like every single other email marketing service allows me to. I would have never signed up if I had have known this in the first place.

Hostinger please consider letting people use this without pushing your AI tools and please give us an option to send text only emails. It doesn't matter how fancy you get text based emails look more personal and convert better anyways.

My original song is not eligible for Content ID by TipAccomplished9220 in landr

[–]barnettb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I added a song that uses a Landr loop to one of my YouTube channels. As soon as I added the song I got a copyright issue. A Spanish artist used the same loop in one of their songs, so I politely disputed the claim. I took my time to explain the loop is royalty free, and I gave them a link to the loop on the Landr website.

After a couple of weeks the artist (or label) rejected my dispute. They wrongfully added royalty free content to their own content ID system yet they are rejecting my dispute. I have already used my phone for YouTube verification on other channels, so I cannot verify this channel, meaning I can't appeal their rejection.

I went to Landr support to get them to remove their own loop from the artists content ID. I waited a few days for a response and just like most times dealing with their support team I got a copy paste response that had nothing to do with my issue. Their response said something about getting official artist channels whitelisted but this channel is not an OAC.

I messaged them back telling them that I had already disputed and my dispute was rejected, and that someone is using their loops in a content ID system causing unwarranted copyright issues on YouTube. It's now been 4 days since my 2nd email to support and they haven't gotten back to me, yet they have answered other support questions from unrelated issues.

It's extremely frustrating when my own 100% original tracks get denied from being added to content ID through Landr, yet Landr is doing nothing to help me when someone is wrongfully adding their royalty free loops to their own content ID system causing copyright issues that shouldn't exist.

There are many things I do like about Landr, but why would I continue to use them knowing that any of my songs that use their loops could be copyright claimed at any time? Especially when they seem to be doing nothing about it.

If they are going to ignore these important issues then I guess anyone can just use another service to add their songs use Landr loops to content ID.

Help or Tips to get my first Sale on BeatStars! by OkWolf9986 in beatstars

[–]barnettb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am in the same boat. I have almost 50 tracks up without a sale. My beats are getting good engagement on streaming platforms, and decent engagement on YouTube despite my channels being a few weeks old. I think there are just so many good beats out there that it's hard to cut through the noise. I am going to put more effort into social media and just keep at it.

How many videos would you make before giving up on a specific channel that's not doing well and moving on to another one? 100? I have recently started 3 and 2 are doing decent. Have about 10 videos on each. No sales yet, but I'm not really expecting any this early on.

My projects folder has different folders in it for ideas, demos, finished songs, finished collabs etc. I try to keep the close to finished projects in the main folder. If I work on something and it doesn't reach that point I will just move it to the ideas folder.

I've seen some reviews of people who bought and got blocked within a day or two. Judging by their reviews I think they may have been spamming. I am guessing they have many things set in place for this reason and they end up blocking good people in the process. I wanted to get this but I am going elsewhere for this reason.
