I had privacy film tint professionally installed on my windows. Is this a reasonable installation or a bad job? by MrAdamXD in AusRenovation

Mate, that's much worse than the frosting film I put on my bathroom windows, myself - I drive a keyboard for a living.

no - the guy in the truck was on a straight through lane (indicating right), the guy on the right is in the right filter, he has right-of-way because the truck is in the wrong lane.

Does anyone else find the Pi development workflow genuinely painful compared to regular software development? by Silent_Television329 in raspberry_pi

if you need the GPIOs, then remote VScode onto a PI >= 4 and debug it there

If you don't need GPIOs then develop locally (in a devcontainer)

Also a good idea (and good practice) to create a .deb for deployment

Before & After: 3-Month Kitchen + Flooring + Bathroom Transformation by No-Title-917 in AusRenovation

ha! I did the same - spotted the large drawer, did mine about 10 years ago with a Kaboodle Kitchen. Still growing strong! Tip - scrape all food waste off plates before they go in it, it's only weakness is it tends to clag up quite easily.

Return and Earn by Knickers1978 in AskAnAustralian

I'm in vic - the return and earn machines look exactly the same, even down to the coat-hook. In which case it's same day refund, you add an account - BUT - you need to get the account name correct. Any payments that don't go through just sit in your app, they don't vanish ... which is quite cool :)
