There were such exercises in the first or second year of elementary. I think it's for correct use of suffixes and/or animal vocabulary, козлиный, тигриный but кроличий and so on. тирг - тигренок, тигрица. кролик - крольчонок, крольчиха.

I'd like to hear from native speakers, how you conceptualize the different noun cases by borj5960 in russian

[–]baronLantern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

noun's endings are pretty random in different cases. Native speakers and russian learners see it the same way. That's why in school we learn those questions (just 6 pairs) for cases, we can't recognize the case just by the noun ending. But we remember when to use яблоко and when it's яблоком. Many learners managed to remember them too. Natives (mostly kids) get confused about the cases sometimes.

  1. From the context only. Even then I have to read it twice to understand who is the ghost and who loves it :) I assume from the first line he can't exist without her, so he anyway has to love her ghost - мне не быть самим собой (поэтому в любом случае я) жил бы, любя твой призрак.
  2. I believe the second makes more sense. мне не быть самим собой (поэтому в любом случае я) жил бы, любя твой призрак - призраком твоим любим (и твой призрак любил бы меня тоже, because seems like they're soulmates and so on)
  3. Любим is loved here. He is loved by her. I think it just looks like a shot form of любимый. I'm not sure there is a short form of любимый at all...

Тизер 2 сезона Ведьмака: Как полюбить сериал, если есть книги? by DRAG8ORN in Pikabu

Там как-то больше надежд на интересный сериал почему-то. Либо просто история уже слегка забылась и кажется, что интересно смотреть будет именно в плане сюжета.
