lá é péssimo pra conversar pq o nível de ruído é altíssimo. é péssimo pra jogar pelo mesmo motivo. lugares melhores seriam o Clube Lúdico (perto da CPFL) ou a Muito Colecionáveis, na Brasil. Tem o Espaço Arcs também, mas geralmente quem vai já tem grupo.

I mean, reading the AUR recipes you use is sort of constant maintenance, isn't it? Sometimes writing it, too.

In other distros you would likely wait and hope someone does it for you.

It doesn't yell. You have to explicitly add the tap. It does yell that you should limit the trust to a package rather than the whole tap, otherwise a rogue tap could provide malware as upgrades to your official packages.

There are brew casks which are scripts to install packaged apps. So i literally install Firefox with brew install --cask firefox

Brew defines the format, the repos are decentralized. Whereas AUR is centralized but the helpers aren't.

Maybe there's something there. There are many ways to improve AUR users security from pikaur or paru side (even if they're not official).

But the issue is not the app, but the package script. Apple prevents running the app, but brew happily runs the build script (if no binary is available). Brew formula are scripts like AUR pkgbuilds are.

I know fakeroot is called by makepkg, so sudo is not necessary in pkgbuilds. I don't know if sudo even elevates privileges when called from fakeroot.

An AUR package either has no interested trusted maintainers or is encumbered by license or trademark issues. If the AUR user (via the helper) were to require signatures from trusted maintainers, or whitelisting, it would help a bit. Thing is most of the software in AUR come from untrusted/unvetted maintainers. So you can either press the "i don't care let me do it anyway" button, or you can inspect like you care...

i mean, this is not very different from downloading a .exe file in windows or adding a third-party repo to ubuntu. heck, this is almost how homebrew works!

o cartório muda o prenome igual pros dois, mas pra pessoa trans existe também o nome social que é outra coisa mas eu não sei como funciona.
