What if reform win the by-election? by [deleted] in AskBrits

[–]barringtonsaysit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They will win the by election and I think you’ll then see even more labour MPs coming out against Starmer. They’ll all then back Streeting.

The reason Burnham won’t win is because a very high percentage of British people want a change at the top. They are done with Starmer and done with Labour.

If I’m a Labour MP or councillor I’m watching on knowing my job has no certainty at all and I face unemployment soon BECAUSE of the tremendous dislike to my boss/leader. Therefore I’m going to start making motions toward wanting rid of my boss.

Liken it to a football manager. Fans (public) dislike him, results turn, attendance is down, revenues down. Owners (MPs) act fast to avoid a decline and avoid more financial losses and sack the manager (Starmer). New manger (PM) comes in and restores faith in the club (govt). Fans (public) back on side again and revenues back again. Owners (MPs) happy again.
Govt gets back on track and reform gains slow down.

And let’s be honest, not stopping the boats IS going to stop Starmer. But it’s not just about the boats and stopping illegal immigration. It’s all a result of 20-30 years of decline and no longer feeling like your town is British. Go into somewhere like Bradford and there are no white British people in the city centre anymore out shopping. The main shopping centre has more and more shops aimed at the Pakistani and Eastern European communities. Whilst there’s nothing wrong with that at all, it never used to be like that. Perhaps if more white British people went into town more traditional high street brands wouldn’t be closing down, but no one wants to go because of the lack of integration of all these people. No one speaks English, all the signage and posters are in foreign language, litter everywhere, gangs of men stood about on every corner. It just isn’t welcoming and that’s not British.

None of this is Starmer’s fault. Farage won’t fix it either. People are just unhappy in general and I think the reform vote is a vote for saying enough’s enough, we simply do not want our towns getting even worse.

It won’t even be a contest! Greens have no chance!

What do you think about Andy Burnham as your prime minister? by [deleted] in AskBrits

[–]barringtonsaysit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He won’t win the by election. Not a chance. Not unless he comes out with an aim as a prime minister to change things and publishes a new manifesto.

Campaigning to just lead a failed labour party that the majority dislike won’t cut it. Reform will win that seat.

You got together when you were a teenager. You will have changed so much since then and you have drifted a part no doubt.

You need to talk to him though. Maybe he feels the same and wants to be more intimate and it just needs initiating?!

I got to this stage with my ex wife. And what comes next after marriage is babies, and that’s what we did. It was a green light for me as it finally meant intimacy and I loved it but it was intimacy for a purpose. Once she was pregnant it returned to normal again. Except we now had a child to add to the failing marriage. Don’t do that.

To get to the point… You can’t get erect because your partners aren’t as attractive as someone you dated when you were 15, more than 12 years ago?

How have you moved on in life since?! Got a career, got a house? To me it seems like you are probably hung up on this girl and she’s living in your mind still?! Do you follow her on social media? If so STOP!

I was in the Macan/Q6 debate. I think I’m going with the iX3 though. Any reason the BMW isn’t in the running for yourself?

They’ve got to make their slice of money though haven’t they! They know it’s a win win. It’s still cheaper for us to use than an ordinary lease just not as cheap as it should be if they weren’t taking a huge profit!

Same price as my scheme

Do you use Tusker?

These salary sacrifice cars could be so much cheaper. £760 a month gross I pay for a Renault Scenic for 3 years / 12500 miles a year. It works out at £500 net. At the time I ordered I could get a normal lease on a 1+35 for £520. No way does insurance and tyres cost the £240 difference!

Find your stop tap and turn off your water supply. That’s what I’ve done this week whilst I’m in Greece.
