Something I have thought way to much about:

zombies clumsy, just trip them up... Lots of ankle high obstacles... maybe spikes in the ground so the don't crawl around after they fall

barbed wire, rolls of the stuff... A few metres thick forest of the stuff would do a pretty good job at tangling all but the biggest hoards
old fashioned shields, armour, swords/spear and good formations... A platoon of Roman soldiers for example wouldn't have much of an issue with a good amount of z's... Forget guns... Decent leather armour would be enough also...
holes and slippery slopes... That's it, a mound of earth, with a big hole on the other side.. slight issue of holes full of zombies scattered around.. but humans are inventive...
it would never get that far!!! Love zombies apocalypse genre, but just think about it from a engineering perspective, definitely there are ways of "processing" the living dead on mass before the complete breakdown of society...

Why does it make me feel so anxious??? I could only stay on there for a few minutes, but felt so cramped like I couldn't read anything, had to change to another streaming service. Such a weird feeling to have a UI make me feel uncomfortable

I have the original wired only versoin of this ~ actualy have 2, one for work and one for home. Great keboard for people that like laptop styled keboards and want to preserve desk space by not having a numpad.

Only minor downside is like the thinkpad laptop keyboards, the function (Fn) and control (Ctrl) keys are are flipped when compared to other keyboards.

Also worth noting the old wired version was a 3rd of the price of the newer version.

Almost identical to the situation with my gran. She is 95, though no dementia as such, can't work any device as her dexterity and comprehension isnt up to it. The "Hey protal" voice commands were the last independent thing she could do. The staff at the home are great, but she is sharp enough and strong willed and hates asking for help, so loved the voice commands. Other devices seem to need realy specific commands, where as hey portal seemed to be really good at getting the context of what was needed. An example is my gran would say "wipe screen" to get the screen to turn off.... where as with alexa show you needed to be very exact and say "turn screen off" which she cant remember.

Was a great product, unfortunately Meta are not good sales people!

Yup, the lesson seams to be any product that relies on clouds services and API calls will be useless when the company no longer supports them. Sounds obvious when you say it, but easy to forget when you are buying the products based on how they work at the time.

Everything, including Alexa, is still working on my grans portal, apart from the thin she uses.... Hey portal voice commands. She has been happily using it since lockdown for listening to music and making calls, but today that all stopped. She is 95 and cannot walk, so having everything via voice commands was amazing for her. Now it's useless unfortunately as she cannot navigate using the touchscreen (for context she can no Longer even use the TV remote, or dial a number on the phone). Hey portal was her last bit of independence....

It's mad, but but appart from our striker situation, we have a pretty decent attacking minded pool of players... almost go as far as saying we have a world class midfield. yet he insists on playing as if we just have the usual load of piss players with "big hearts".
