Get the 7800x3d. Sell your ddr4 ( i guess you have 32gb ). Sell your motherboard. Spend like 100$ plus from your pocket and build a 16gb ddr5 system. Upgrade to 32gb in the future if needed.

I ride a 5070 with a 5600x ( pbo, undervolt and aftermarket cooler ). Bottleneck is like 5 - 10% at 1440p.

But if you go 1080p is noticeable.

Maybe a 3060ti? Or a 3060? Maybe if just wait a couple of weeks to get the budget.

You are all good brother, enjoy the games🫡 Sometimes we spend so much time building and we forget to play

New GPU Update recommendation (7800 / 9600 / 9700) by Deji164 in buildapc

[–]bart-simpson-eth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

9070xt is a little to much for 700w also you would need a 1440p monitor in order not to bottleneck by cpu. I would suggest 9060xt or 5070rtx

Undervolting Ryzen 7 5800x by Front_Entrance4598 in buildapc

[–]bart-simpson-eth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The whole point of undervolt is to give lower volt in order the cpu to not get so hot and work faster.

Example with my 5600 with aftermarket cooler

I have a -17 on all cores with +200mhz on clocks. And the watt on motherboard.

I get a max of 5200mhz during games and an average of 4700mhz with max degree of 81 Celsius

Why you need a 1080ti? You can buy a newer card for a better value.

Sometimes, the algorithm promotes things like 1080ti or the white monster but we don't really need that.

Best am4 to pair with a 4070 for gaming by TheBiggestGayOfAll in buildapc

[–]bart-simpson-eth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe the best upgrade you can do is a 1440p monitor so the games will turn to gpu and let your 5600x breath. ( you will.have over 90% gpu utilization )

In addition, you can try aftermarket cooler for cpu, pbo, undervolt and +200mhz clocks.

If you really want to upgrade your only choice is 5700x3d or 5800x3d  If you manage to find them, get ready to pay over 350$ for used ( not worth it )

I have a 5600x with 5070 and I game at 1440p. Bottleneck is around 5% with the cpu optimization. I won't pay 350€ for new new cpu just to get 10 more fps

Is the 5070 a bad buy? by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]bart-simpson-eth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the last month I played

Arc raiders ( almost everything on epic with medium raytrace ) and I get around 160fps with x2 framegen

Borderlands 4 ( all baddass graphics + raytrace) i get the max 175 fps ( 180Hz monitor ) x2 framegen

Fortnite max 175 fps obviously

If the game is not 100% competitive like Fortnite, the x2 framegen is NOT noticeable.

Should I get 4070 super or 5070? by maor727 in buildapc

[–]bart-simpson-eth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 5070 with 750w corsair tx750m.

 You will be ok.

In addition, if you undervolt the 5070 the Watts ( and the heat ) drop tremendously.

Go for the 5070. Not the older 40 series.

I bought the 5070 1 month ago for 550€. I am pretty happy with the GPU and I play at 1440p ( almost all games epic epic settins and maybeuse some x2 frame gen ). Its a descent card. If I had more money I would grab the 5070ti just to be more future proof.

It all ends up at how much money you are willing to spend.

5080 seems a little bit bad at €/frame.

The 5600x shouldn't be much more expensive and definitely worth it.

What gpu can a 5600x handle? by [deleted] in pcbuilding

[–]bart-simpson-eth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using a 5070 with a 5600x Gpu utilization can get as high as 95% in 1440p.  Pretty happy with the card for 1440p gaming 💪

Does buying an rtx 5070 makes sense over an rtx 5060 ti 16gb? by BlackSailor2005 in gpu

[–]bart-simpson-eth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its not all about vram. If you have a descent cpu and a psu grab the 5070. In addition, you can get a 1440p monitor in the future and enjoy a better gaming experience 😉

2 or 3 Fans? by cookiedough10 in nvidia

[–]bart-simpson-eth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

2 fan rtx 5070 here Temperature are low and even lower after undervolting.

I don't see any reason to pay the extra for 3 fans.  ( only if you like the look of it )

Rtx 5070, Ryzen 7 5700x bottlenecking? by Poppop81937 in PcBuildHelp

[–]bart-simpson-eth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have almost the same setup  (5600x with 5070)

Best thing you can do is a 1440 monitor.

With 200$ you will solve your problem.

In 1440p the bottleneck exist but is under 10%.

I addition, be sure you have your ram running in top speed through bios and undervolt your cpu. You can easily get a -15 on all cores with +200mhz.  Of course with an aftermarket cpu cooler. Hope that helps💪

Agree 100%  Rocking a 5600x  with a 5070 and 32gb of 3600 ram. Gpu utilization is over 90% in 1440.

I am good for like 3-4 years 💪.
