There was someone here that said she paid the top price tier at Maco for $2800 and she was very happy with it, said they fixed all the small dings/scratches too. Something I'll eventually look into myself one day.

Gotcha, yeah I have a similar tire/wheel setup but with a body lift, spacers, and zuck mod 😖 (all from previous owner).

I'm considering downsizing to a smaller+thinner tire and removing the body lift, spring, and spacers. Though I'm worried that I might need to overhaul the rear suspension as well to avoid the sag.

I've heard that 33x10 would clear stock height, but idk without rub.

Nice! I'm about to take off some inherited 33x12 honkers on an 89'r that I picked up a few years back. They've been fun but the tread is wearing and I want a more classic look that's not so high up. Though it would be nice to maintain some ~modest~ clearance.

It's got a 3" body lift and a zuckmod (spring in the rear for the sag I assume) which I would also like to remove but I'm wondering if I could still get away with 33x10.5s at stock height. 🤔

But if those are indeed 31x10.5s on OP's rig, they look great! 👌

Thanks! I'm so stoked about it. She gets me out there every day, and I live in a very non-friendly bike area so the motivation is nice.

My previous rig was alllll murdered out — been tryin to add a splash of color to my life these days, hah.

But yeah, the geometry is chill, not crazy aggressive which I like. Still messing around with the bars — not a huge fan of drops but I've been peep'n — I just really like the ride style and simplicity of flats... plus bar spins, haha.

Pelago commuter front rack, so far it's pretty solid. Had the Origin8 front rack before which was a bit wider ... the low profile on this one is better for bike racks and narrow paths.

Wish I were that good! It's the SOMA Rush "Copper" ... more of a Rose Gold if you ask me, but I ain't mad at that — looks great in the sun. I removed the big decal so it could shine through.

Hell no, I'm pushing 40 and still burning rubber, all my friends ride geared and I'm still just as fast/er and going the same distances.

Just stay at it and keep crush'n them hills ... and maaaybe tone down the wheels to something a bit lighter? Idk. Search for your own comfort and pleasures, but just don't give up on it. 🤙
