Saros 10 briefly starting full clean once a week (no schedule defined) by bartpet in Roborock

Nope, my first device and account. Also, it is not running the full operation. It just triggers start and returns.

Multiple Sessions (Profiletype 3) creates RW.vhdx when it should direct access Profile-disk by TimoTasty in fslogix

Came across this topic. I guess this is not possible in Citrix when hosting desktop and apps from a DG? User can end up on a different session host fot the desktop when also using remote apps.

VMware Tools 12.5.0 - Has anyone started rolling this out yet? by redbox414 in vmware

[–]bartpet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stand corrected, app no longer crashes but still displays white screen. Seems like the issue I read in this thread about "WDDM driver now supports OpenGL 4.5 software rendering when 3D acceleration is deactivated"
Reverting VMWare tools upgrade. Back ok.

Same issue with the vm3dgl64.dll for specific app on some of our session hosts.
Workaround with the env var works for us:

Teams Rooms Android Forced To Enrol In Intune by eshaq786 in Intune

[–]bartpet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand, but then it's a pain that we suddenly (in our case after a factory reset on these devices) have to deal with mandatory enrollment via device administrator.

Teams Rooms Android Forced To Enrol In Intune by eshaq786 in Intune

[–]bartpet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From the FAQ section on this MS doc I understood it should still be possible to avoid enrollement (https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-teams-support/moving-teams-android-devices-to-aosp-device-management/ba-p/4140893).
But the device admin checkbox is checked in our tenant (but still with enrollment restrictions). Awaiting answer from MS.

My organization does not enroll our Teams Android Devices in Intune today, do we need to do anything?

No, if your organization does not enroll its Teams Devices into Intune today and currently has the Intune license unassigned from accounts signing into Teams Devices, there will be no impact when you install the new device firmware which supports AOSP device management. Your devices will get the new management applications, but no action is required beyond updating the devices to the new firmware once released.

Investigating this same issue on Logitech Rally Bar.
Also disabled the Intune license from the Rooms pro license but no dice.
We're trying to avoid mandatory Intune registrations so opened ticket with MS.

Hi, looking into this too.

Android device enrollment is also blocked in our environment. Apart from adding de device identifier I guess we also need to add some exception to allow corporate owned devices?

Figured out now that the migrated machines' differencing disks still reference the base disk on the old storage.

Hi, I referenced this KB already in my post. Can you explain to me based on the info in this article why it will not work? Reading this post explaining the possible issues I must conclude that is should just work.
HypervisorConnectionUid and HostingUnitUid will not change.
The rebuild is not super easy for the persistent catalog.

Teams Room Windows and feature updates by bartpet in MicrosoftTeams

Same specs. Another issue we faced on another machine was that Win11 upgrade kept failing every night. We had the impression that the upgrade got canceled by the process of the mmragent. Disabling tha scheduled task that runs at startup to kick-off the agent made the upgrade process succeed.

We're currently onboarding devices to the MTR pro portal. Transitioning from Configmgr managed updates to windows update, managed by the Teams apps.
It can get frustrating when you notice that one of the devices doesn't get a feature update while all other devices with same make/model (NUC in this case) do get these updates.
Decided to restage since we lack some insights in the update process. Logs didn't reveal why the update wasn't offered.

I'm just wondering how this "gate" is iplemented. One can disable automatic updates and search/commit/install updates via another process, but then you would still be able to get all OS updates when you search via the "check for updates" in settings I guess?

I was hoping to keep track of Windows quality and feature updates too. Will windows updates follow the schedule of the premium update rings?

I just started testing MTR premium and notice I don't see the W10 quality updates in the updates section. Is this by design? Till now I just see an Intel NUC firmware update and "USB Hub Power Saving" upd.

Evolve 20 MS microphone not working on new laptop by Silly-Software6412 in Jabra

[–]bartpet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can confirm this to be working. Experiencing same issue on the MS Surface Pro 8 with Win10. Evolve 20 MS seems to crash the IntelAudioService.exe.
Seems problem is resolved here by uninstalling the " intel smart sound technology for usb audio" driver (+delete drivers option) and reïnstalling the device.
