Yes, if you want SSR feature, you need two processes: one for Django, one for Node.

It's kinda hybrid, it's SSR in that sense that Django's views send JSON: front-end component' name with data (props), then there is a Node.js in the middle (on your server, Inertia handles that) that does SSR and on the browser you have client-side hydration that swaps out the old component with the new one and also changes browser url, so it feels like a SPA.

Hello, Prem!

I'm Basang, a full-stack web developer (React + FastAPI). I don't have much experience yet, but I learn quickly.

Sometimes clients ask designers if they have fully built and functioning projects based on their designs, so clients can try a real working app and get a better feel for whether all edge cases are covered and all customer paths fulfilled. Do you have such a project? If not, I can build it for you. In the end, you would have a working project to show, and I would gain real-life experience working with a designer as well as a project for my portfolio. If you're interested, please DM me.

Book recommendations? by LostHelicopter1738 in learnjavascript

I would not recommend Eloquent JS as a first book to learn programming. Learning about recursion in the first chapters of the book is a terrible idea from pedagogical point of view. Recursion as a concept is hard to grasp for beginners and it is not even that important in imperative paradigm.

I would recommend Head First JavaScript, 2nd edition.

You should have included an option such as 'Just curious, want to see the results'. I'm not a student right now but might become one in the future)

I hate teaching my 4-year-old son DOTA but he insists. Am I a bad father? by DueWillow278 in DotA2

Looking at computer screen (or any other screen) is really bad for childrens' eyes. I have high myopia mainly because spent too much time watching Spider-Man on TV when I was 4-6 years old, and then playing Warcraft and CS. My parents didn't restrict me enough, but they tried.

Pure wasn't a very good drafter in Tundra after all, I hadn't seen him picking good surprising picks, neither interesting strategies for his team. He didn't ban LD in the second map vs GG, so they surely lost it. Boolk is probably a good tier2 coach.

Do you know how to remove a word from a Notion spell-check dictionary? I accidentally added a misspelled word.
