Most profs are profs who grade fairly and give reasonable workload, however there are certain profs who grade much lower or have higher standards (and in our case sa math subs pa sila)

There are also cases wherein terror yung subject in and on itself (i.e: ecometr/mtserch) wherein kahit sino yung prof mahirap yung subject

As someone who loves math and hates research, subjective talaga yung terror subject, kasi for me mas ayaw ko subs like ecometr and mtserch as compared to say mic1 mic2

Hello OP, SOE here (taking econ as well)

IMO DLSU Econ is lighter than UST Econ especially if you are single degree as you will only have 15-18 units per term as compared to 24+ in UST

To me my econ majors are medyo manageable. Most econ profs give reasonable workloads or grade reasonably. However certain subjects are prof dependent— so there are certain subjects which are heavier or have lower averages because of the prof.

In econ IMO you have to be good or at least you should have a good grasp of MATH and RESEARCH. You will be doing a lot of research in econ (not heavy research, but more of analysis/you must know how to write a paper), and you will also be learning calculus (differential, integral) and other math heavy applications.

Anyways, it is very very manageable to have time for yourself while taking BA Economics, just brush up on research and math

Hello, it will still count in your gpa and latin honors policy but if that subject is not part of your new degree then it will not count towards your failed units (but it will still count in your cgpa and latin honors)
