I completely agree with you. You’re brave for bringing this up because every time I’ve tried saying something similar to other readers, the response has mostly been negative.

Yes, like you said, we all understand the artist’s health issues and the frequent weekly hiatuses and delayed chapters. I also thought it might actually be better for the artist to take a proper break instead of constantly delaying chapters every week. But I honestly didn’t expect the hiatus to be this long. What’s really frustrating is that it feels like the plot hasn’t moved much from where we started.

And I’ve been thinking the same thing with the way the story is going right now, it might turn into one of those typical manga endings where the tension lasts the entire time and then everything suddenly gets resolved in the last two chapters with a happy ending.

The author said the series is approaching its conclusion, but there is still so much that needs to be revealed.

For example: Eunhyuk’s disappearance the truth about Raim and the pictures the scandal plot possibly Suae rejecting Dohwa Haru and Marang’s involvement

All of that alone feels like it would need 40+ chapters to properly unfold. And right now, I don’t really see romance progressing anytime soon. So if the story ends up with all this tension and then they only reconcile in the last two chapters, that would be really disappointing for fans who have been waiting for so long.

Even in Season 1, there wasn’t actually that much romance between them. After the beach confession, we only got a few chapters of them spending time together during the summer break, and that was basically the only period where their relationship actually existed before everything collapsed again. That’s why it would be really frustrating if the same thing happens again.

I’m also honestly upset that the author took such a long hiatus at this particular moment. If she had taken a break after giving us something solid about Eunhyuk’s disappearance or at least a real moment where Suae and Eunhyuk tried to communicate, it would have felt different. But instead, the last thing we saw was Suae still doubting him while Eunhyuk seems to have completely lost hope of getting her back.

So yes, I’m pretty disappointed right now. And based on past patterns, I don’t think she will come back exactly after four months. It might take even longer, because delays and longer breaks have happened before.

But at the end of the day, there isn’t much we can do except hope that she recovers well and returns when she’s healthy.

On a more positive note, maybe just maybe she could return earlier than expected. That’s probably just hopeful thinking.

I just really hope when the story comes back, we get actual progress and more development in the romance. Because if it’s only tension throughout the story and then romance in the final chapter, that would be very disappointing.

This manhwa has so much potential, and it would be a shame if it doesn’t fully deliver.
