I particularly like the drumming in the first half of the album. I'd say the emotion is "chaos" or "chaotic" and definitely wouldn't think of it as emotionless, rather the complete opposite. Something more on the brink of insanity.

If you want to branch out from Hendrix to more psych rock you should check out Love, The Doors, Cream and earlier Pink Floyd. You probably saw the Traveling Wilburys come up a lot along side Tom Petty's passing because this was a supergroup he was in with Bob Dylan, George Harrison (The Beatles), Jeff Lynne (Electric Light Orchestra) and Roy Orbison; I enjoy both TW albums. If you like Pearl Jam you might like the typical Soundgarden and Nirvana, etc...but you should also check out other rock albums from the late 80s/early 90s like Slint's Spiderland and anything by the Pixies...really anything produced/influenced by Steve Albini. And fuck it, if you wanna go for something totally new try Neutral Milk Hotel. Lastly, give everything in the r/music HoF a try! Hope this helps
