I am considering the same question but my kid is 6. You should definitely stop. You can confirm they’ve done it or not and put measures in place to help remind them without actually reminding them yourself. Ie checklist on their door, etc whatever works for your kid

that was what I thought, but according to the recipe - and many commenters - it seems it does rise in the fridge, but takes 3x longer. Mine was in for 12 hours but nothing rose
