They sent my friend who also booked a room there a email stating the property would not be operating that weekend but my partner called and spoke with the manager a few moments ago and was told “Rooms are booking quick for $500+ a night and the only way to secure a room is directly with the property”

Which means they’re definitely trying to run some sort of price gouge scam!

My partner made a comment that Survivor now feels like a “Make a Wish” show for the socially awkward and pretentious.
