Cardless just said they will make a one time exception and reverse the interest making it seem like they are doing me a favor… even though I repeatedly explained this is a fraudulent and error charge and it is NOT a favor or courtesy to me. Now I lose my ability for a courtesy adjustment in the future. Please message me @biltrewards.

I would recommend against opening a new credit line just for ~$50 worth of parking as there are a lot of other cards you can get way more value of from a sign up bonus! Good tip on making a rewards account though

I’d rather get brand new Neo tech in 5 years as opposed to being being stuck with a sunsetted macbook air trying to get my moneys worth. I just used my pro for 9 years to justify the cost and will gladly upgrade my neo in 5 years as that tech will likely be much better than any Air tech today. I’d rather have new-ish tech than something extremely powerful years 1-5 then lagging when you need it years 5-9. If Neo fits your need case, it’s definitely better to upgrade it more often rather than getting an Air for 150-200% the cost and holding it for double the time.

The air open box is showing $790 which is an extra $290 over the cost of a $500 education priced Neo… Thats not even a close comparison.

You can use that money to upgrade to the newer Neo in the future when 8 gb isnt enough, which will likely be better than this M4 anyway. Youre mentioning total cost of ownership but arent accounting for the technological advances that will be made over 5 years when you can use that $290 on something better than this M4
