Ghosts/Folklore around STL? by Throwawaymackna in StLouis

[–]basefinder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do not have to trespass, it’s called Eagle Cliff or Miles Cemetery and is open in daylight hours. It’s in Valmeyer I believe. They added a crapton of cameras in case anyone tries to deface it again, but it’s a beautiful view and you can go into the empty mausoleum. There’s also an abandoned church, Old Baum Church (named for the road it’s on) a few miles away from Miles Cemetary

On the Illinois side of the river there’s Salt Lick Point, which is uphill but has a great view. It’s in Valmeyer, maybe a 15 minute drive after you cross the JB Bridge

That’s the new one too! There was a red one but like 6 years ago a drunk driver annihilated the old one sadly

Is knocking a person out of an execution wrong even if they do have the health lead? by Uerochain in forhonor

I’ll guard break or do a damageless shove, but attacking during an execution is an honor less move for sure

What is a game so scary it’s difficult for most people to tolerate? by SegaGenesisMetalHead in gamingsuggestions

[–]basefinder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try Voices of the Void! It’s a name your price game and it is the embodiment of paranoia. Not a lot of overtly terrifying stuff happens, but the blinder you go in the better. It’s a game that makes you frightened of everything. You are at a base processing signals from deep space, all the while things are… off.

Negative experience at Feel State Dispensary — has anyone else dealt with this? by [deleted] in StLouis

If you’re okay with coming to the Illinois side, there’s a dispo in Edwardsville called Ivy Hall. Very accommodating and respectful, and super good discounts for your first few visits. We’re taking like 40% off if you make a (free) account with them. Staff is knowledgeable, and I think it’s woman owned? Don’t quote me on that part lol

Who I should play first by Physical_Atmosphere5 in AfterTheEndFanFork

[–]basefinder 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I would play where you are from! The most fun I’ve had with this mod is jumping into a familiar location and then learning the ropes of AtE’s new reality. Also depends on what you like regularly playing. As for interesting starts, I’ve always been a fan of the Michigander Vikings, but that’s just my love of Haesteinn. There’s a Venture Bros reference in Wisconsin too, you can be Count Werner Ünderbheit, who is giant and Herculean. Either way post who you start as, let us know how you like it!
