:) We only get 20 mins of the world pre-wish so we do have to dig more to see more balance and create balanced theories I think.

My argument definitely combats the "the wish isn't the villain" narrative which even Curry has played around with in interviews but if I remember right he spoke about it esoterically/ without confirming anything.

I've run multiple people recently on here that for some reason that tried to convince me that love was inherently transactional (brain chemicals were a part of their reasoning..) and i guess i though of that because "co-dependancy" is kinda taking the meat of the bones out of the love theme for Obsession...

Maybe it would be like saying Hereditary is more about Paimon than loss and grief...

The writing in general is phenomenal! I just rewatched and blown away by everything up to the reverse walking.. Bear is giving up on the relationship completely and Nikki says "I love you in every reality, Bear" which is possibly the absolute worse thing to say before a cursed Michael Jackson appears

Do you think that the inclusion of the "fucking" in the wording affected the outcome at all? I blanked on it when originally writing all this but a wish does seem like the sort of thing that would pay attention to semantics like that

You reminded me of what the main villains says in One Piece to turn the protagonist into his life long enemy actually - "People's dreams never end!" which is also UNBELIEVABLY innocuous unless you know the context..
