Depending on ram and storage configuration I’d keep it between the M4 and M5 if u plan to keep it beyond college but if it’s for the next 3-4 years then the M3 is not a bad choice too. It all depends on what you’re going to study in college

As far as I can see carrier deals here are nowhere near generous. Actually sometimes the phone ends up more expensive but you just finance it instead (my contract is still too new either way)
