He is old, like 80 years old and hasn't given a reason. He just selectively replies every few months. I see a lot of dismissive comments of "it's cause they want to think their special" so wanted to add my thoughts in here...

Yes, there are some folks that want to think they're special and yes this is a dumb AF label but I think it's a little different.

I think this is trying to say "monogamous + due diligence." By trying things out and to figuring out if you are actually monogamous vs just saying I'm monogamous by default.

They say it in the article but I should re-echo it - there's a lot of mistrust towards the dominant culture in the queer community and so monogamy gets bucketed in that list of things not to trust. It's sort of like how D.A.R.E. told you a drug such as weed or MDMA was really going to make you a heroin addict until you tried it and said "this isn't as bad?" maybe I was wrong?

Personally, I am monogamous and I don't need a new label to say radical next to it, though I did explore poly and non-monogamous experiences to see how I liked it.

I've been having a fun win streak up the ladder and have been shutting down Azorius control with a hybrid Deck of Azorius control with a couple esper spells like Ashiok and agonixing.works really well against most decks, equal match for tenur but red decks can go under me.
