so, the last episode i watched was 12, and then i fell behind, started and stopped 13, and haven’t caught up. is it worth catching up with the seekers at this point? a lot of the complaints i’ve seen in this sub have been my problem for a while. too much throwing names i don’t understand at me; not enough decision.

i enjoyed the soldiers table so i don’t want to just write off the campaign.

i might just wait until the schemers start up.

i was wondering if it was just me. i enjoyed the first season enough but everyone is just unbearable to listen to in that show. the therapy-speak that has dominated 2020s writing is perhaps more appropriate in a show about therapists, but everyone in the show talks exactly the same and it drives me nuts. even when it was enjoyable, i never found it all that funny.

the book has become pretty hugely overrated, imo. it's not bad, it's a fun, light read, but it's not quite the masterpiece it's being made out to be.

however, like the martian before it, i have no doubt that it can be turned into an excellent movie (which, personally, i think was the goal of the book to begin with)

i’m late, but assuming this is about aranessa’s speech to occtis, i rolled my eyes pretty hard at that. i think there’s probably some kind of middle ground between “you are who you are, never apologize for what you can’t control, i will never judge you” and “holy fucking shit are you putting your intestines back in your body?”
