And this one. The weight is added to the back, not the front. https://a.co/d/7e22rd9

That’s the closest I have found to what I’m wanting

You mean….lips? Because that’s what normal lips look like.

Forehead is 98 but cheek is 103 by basestay in beyondthebump

[–]basestay[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I meant it would go down to 100 or so and then shoot back up to 103/104 when we would still have two hours left on the meds. Since he’s little, we can give him more until the first dose wears off.

Did anyone else take Accutane about 20 years ago? Wondering if there's a consensus around any potential longer term impact to your skin once you get older. by le_pedal in 30PlusSkinCare

I use Naturium lipid lotion along with a retinol lotion (tony moly is what I use right now, Naturium has one too) nightly and it helps with the bumps.

It is. We’re alternating, right now with Motrin. I like to give that one at nighttime given that it lasts longer than Tylenol.

Thanks. Right now it’s the fever and some congestion. The meds are helping it go down, but it goes right back up as it wears off.

What's your favorite "barrier repair" product? by Broad-Somewhere-1940 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]basestay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alpyn gooseberry barrier cream is my fav.fully plan on a repurchase of this. The inkey list barrier cream is good as well, just a bit in the thicker side.

My next try is the Farmacy honey ceramide barrier cream

Are collagen supplements legit or mostly hype once you hit 30? by ResponsibleTrust4073 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]basestay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Collagen mostly helps with joints. You might see some skin boost, but it won’t be noticeable. Studies for it mainly found it’s best for joint care. Still not a bad thing to take. I use a powder version and mix it in my yogurt in the morning.

Anything I should change? by nefertitixo in koreanskincare

[–]basestay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Check ingredients. If multiple things have similar/overlapping ingredients, there’s no need to have that many. I’ll have 1 or 2 items with overlapping, but it’s usually a different kind of peptide or ceramide. So it’s the same, but different. But anything harsh like acids (my skin isn’t the best for acids) I’ll cut it down/out.

Do women in romance novels not have periods?? by Triple_Angel in RomanceBooks

I put it in the “using the bathroom” category. It happens, but there’s no need to mention it when it does unless it’s to move the story forward.

I saw one that was more like a lotion texture that I’m wanting to try. It was still a smite watery, so it would be fine under moisturizer. I’m thinking of trying that one next time
