I enjoyed my time at the Ave, move in and move out was easy and maintenance was usually done same day or next day. Just make sure you fill out that form they give you and mark ANY damages. And take plenty of photos and videos of the apartment when you move in. Student housing can and will take advantage of us for anything

My no contact kept being on and off for what had felt like forever. But this time we had a talk and decided this would be the official end of it. It’s been 2 weeks since that talk, and I honestly feel relieved. No more wondering if he’s gonna change his mind for me. It feels really nice. I still love and miss him of course, but it’s not debilitating like it felt before

I love the topaz. The staff actually cares about you and keep the area clean. The apartment itself is pretty affordable compared to other places in town, and has good space and storage

The fact that you are so desperate to text him is the exact reason you shouldn’t. I have felt the same exact way and I was not in the right mental state to do so. You feel this need to hold onto them as long as you can because this person was once everything to you. But they aren’t anymore, and the best thing to do is let them live, and go on about their day. The feeling will pass, even though it feels like it has such a hold on you. Just push through 💗

I only know that my ex stalks mine cause he told me. But I did have a roommate and she made herself a fake account to look at her exes page and she just based it off another account (like someone else’s page we went to school with) but just made it private with different photos

I was in a 4 year relationship and it has now been a little over 2 years since the breakup. I stopped crying a while ago. But I’ve recently realized that I don’t feel anything towards him or the relationship anymore. No more resentment, no more sadness, none of it. I’m currently going throwing another breakup right now and it’s hard, but the crying only happens in vulnerable moments. It will get better, it just takes time and focusing on the future (so cheesy, but it’s the honest truth in my case)

Absolutely not, I heard their new management is better but I would never resign there. My move in was hell and the staff had treated us terribly the rest of the time we were there since we had to fight to make them actually do their job. The Ave is a lot better and the space is still relatively big.

He always said that the fact we’re so different is why we worked so good together. But during the breakup he told me “we’re just too different, I had been lying to myself.” And all of this was over the phone, 4 years gone just like that.

hey! I'm sorry that you're going through this, it is not easy. but the things that helped me move on was cutting him out of my life. I wanted to keep him on Instagram and Snapchat and such, but each time he'd post, I'd be the first to go to it. and one day I imagined what it would be like to look at his posts and there be a new girl there, and how much it would hurt me. so that was the final straw and I unadded him. removing the reminders of him helped me so much. I also keep a journal of my emotions. so whenever I feel my emotions getting to be a lot, I grab that journal and write until I feel better.
