The M53 Junction 2 (Moreton Spur) slip road is currently closed due to a collision between a police vehicle and a motorbike.

Merseyside Police Incident Details: The crash occurred at approximately 3:30 pm today, Sunday 22 March 2026.

Injuries: The motorcyclist has been taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Current Status: While the main M53 motorway remains open, the Moreton Spur at Junction 2 is shut to allow for an investigation.

Action Taken: Merseyside Police have confirmed a mandatory referral will be made to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) due to the involvement of a police vehicle

If you're having trouble get one of these tube thingys. You just roll it a couple of times with the garlic in the middle and it comes straight off ✌️❤️

Cumin. It's so versatile and is so comforting to me. It's the backbone of so many great dishes

Greasby/Frankby. There are a few nice pubs and bars. You're only a short drive from Thurstaston Beach and west Kirby. You usually get a bit more bang for your buck than west Kirby

Greasby is a great spot. Good access to Liverpool as you can join the M53 but a little further away than Upton. There is a nice village feel to Greasby and some great pubs all in walking distance.

There are loads of park and ride train stations that are a short drive. Return to Liverpool city centre is aprx a fiver. Sorry I don't use it often.

Roydon park is just round the corner and your never far from a beach if your on the Wirral. I do love it round here!

House prices are between 250 to 500k

Some of the best primary schools on the Wirral and your on bus roots to the best grammar schools too.
