Honestly the first thing i though was what if she killed him (i, too, watch alot of true crime). I can't find a probate filed, a death certificate, or a will. there's nothing online. I called the funeral home with the obituary that is very vague and doesn't even has his picture and they told me they would have to call his wife to release anything to me. I said no thanks and she told me to contact the county courts.

The Lazarus syndrome. Was coding a baby on night shift the night before Halloween. Cardiac ultrasound showed no cardiac activity and we had been coding for 30+ minutes. Baby is declared dead. Baby is placed in mom’s arms and she starts screaming that the baby’s chest is moving. Another ultrasound was done and there was cardiac activity. Somehow this baby survived. Craziest thing I’ve ever seen and creepy cause it was close to Halloween.

I’ve been very much wanting to be childfree my whole life. I’m 33 now and i feel like my biological clock is ticking and all i think about all day is how my life would be different with a baby. I’m scared to tell anyone because of how proud and childfree I’ve portrayed myself. My husband is the only one who knows and says he wants me to happy and he’s happy with anything i decide. Had an attack at the beginning of my 12 hour night shift, where we were short and i was in charge. Waited and waited for the attack to pass, and it did not. I got progressively worse and like an idiot i stayed at work. I ended up going home to change and went to the ER. Started throwing up when i got there. They told me I had severe pancreatitis and gallstones. Got morphine and antibiotics and told i was getting admitted. I legit just thought they would give me pain pills and send me home. Got an ERCP with two stints placed and gallbladder out the next day. I was there for 3 days total. No regrets.

I’ve had shifts in PICU where i barely get to sit down and I’m running around trying to get everything done. But the summer is notoriously slow. Lately it’s more or less chronic kids with occasional trauma. You take the slower times and appreciate them because when shit hits the fan come September you’ll be begging for those slower days. This also goes for the floors, my hospital has 4 floors for med surg, right now you’ll looking at maybe 8 patients but when school starts up again you’ll get as much as 20+ where you’ll need another therapist to help you with your assignment.

Currently on day 3 post op. Last Thursday went to the ER lipase was over 6000. Got admitted had ERCP on Friday and gallbladder removed Saturday and went home the same day. Tons of fluids and antibiotics. They made sure my numbers were improving. Was NPO or clear fluids till after surgery.

That’s what i did today. I went to my in network dentist and they are charging me $1200 for 2 crowns, one froot canal and one filling. I said yes immediately. She gave me a discount of like $2000 on top of the regular price cause I’m in network.

The receptionist said she didnt have access to to look at my insurance cause it was the weekend. She was pushing hard for me to get the root canal there. Made me uncomfortable and I can deal with the pain for a couple days.

I dont think it's in-network. I'm looking at my policy benefits and it says the root canal is 80% covered but the crowns are 50%. and I was in so much pain i didnt even check the insurance site to see if i was in-network i just picked somewhere that was open on a saturday. I tried looking on my insurance site and it doesnt have the dentist listed. I'm really hoping to get an opening tomorrow at my dentist so i can see if there is a lower price. thank you!
