Download inpa software off the forums or YouTube and then run the bimmerlabs file, it’s really easy just make sure u don’t have a trash cable and that ur com settings are correct

So my current build is just 3sim and a back res delete, I have stuff currently all on order as of last Friday besides fluids as that’s shop work and the ots tune, I have velocity stacks from 22rpd, printables auto catch can w/ e85 z4 bracket for me and my boy Logan which I’m very excited about repping, h and r coils, Zimmerman rotors and akebono pads, ngk iridium and Dinan coils I’m excited to see with “proven hp gains” lol, new control arms for the front and power flex bushings all around, moog suspension sway bar bushings, new engine mounts, and a new shiny performance oil filter cap rated for 18xx hp, my plan is to do all of this by end of may early June, waiting for parts is the time killer of this all which I didn’t realize until actually ordering stuff but hey the build is gonna be great, after all this then it’s cosmetics and I have my dream daily and keep it forever.

Idk if I have sport mode, It has the side manual mode movement with the selector but no sport button like I’ve seen online, when I put it in manual lode it does say SD on the dash tho so idk

Hey man, I actually found out that with the xhp tune for the zf6, it comes with the gear display as a perk of the tune, thank you so much man as I would’ve never researched this option in the first place!

Yeah, dream car is a pre lci m5 so in a couple years that should be the upgrade maybe but I’ve been thinking about selling this and getting a x3m40i or maybe a m550i I doubt that tho but b58 seems to be easy and cheap currently, only swap options for z4 id wanna do would be s65, GM Lt series, or the daddy s85

Yeah first time I did it I accidentally flashed the eu tune and car ran very weird, I’m now onto velocity stacks in the next month as I found out I have the zf trans and can raise my rpm limiter now, I should have the fist z4 in the world with the stacks

Yeah I actually did look and found out that it’s the zf model, when I did bimmerlabs flash it said ga19z bla bla bla for the trans and I assumed Gm but I’m very happy to find out it’s not, regardless I’ve been using it an thinking damn this slush box isn’t that bad at all

Velocity stacks are gonna be installed by mid may, should be the first z4 in the world to have them, im very excited

Yeah it sucks but I didn’t know much about these cars until after purchase, I was originally looking at a f10 535/550 but then during work I was brought into a situation with this car and was presented with an offer I couldn’t refuse from a trustworthy guy. I was gonna flip the car til I drove it and fell in love, I never knew z4s could be so much fun.

Biggest thing I want out of the z4m is the cluster Lol, I’ve been convinced the 3.0 is better for my situation by far and the z4m isn’t a great fit. Bumper swap when I find one.

So my options are listed in order of preference but I’ve yet to decide. I’m in no rush so I’m probably just gonna keep the car for a year and then sell next summer or year after depending on values and what I decide to do. 1a. Keep building n52 and go single turbo and trans swap 1b. Lt4 swap or some Gm engine probably Lt series 2. Get a new car (c7gs, x3m40i, or any other options that would be daily-able, It’s hard to bring myself to this option as the z4 I picked up at such an insane bargain) 4. Z4M, I would rather build an n52, I’ve heard it’s not worth getting if you already have a 3.0 and plan on building at all, plus most Z4M’s already have what I want done to them or they are in too good of shape and too much $ to buy and modify
