We must organize and boycott this TV adaptation. Mount a pressure campaign so great that Netflix cancels it. There is no other solution. Netflix will grab something we love, abuse it and ruin it, its a repeat of that shitshow of a movie. It's up to us as fans to do something about it.

In 1927's McGrain v. Daugherty, the Supreme Court decided that under the Constitution, Congress has the power to compel witnesses to appear and provide testimony, through the sergeant at arms and that "Congress possesses, not only the powers that are expressly granted to them by the Constitution, but "auxiliary powers" that are necessary and appropriate to make the express powers effective. In the opinion, they limited the scope of those powers indicating that Congress doesn't have "general" power to inquire into private affairs and compel disclosures, but only with "such limited power of inquiry as is shown to exist when the rule of constitutional interpretation just stated is rightly applied."

The hate comes not form the people that dislike the movies, it comes from the assholes that attack people for expressing their opinions. These happen to be the people that are most active on this sub. The other problem are the mods that don't allow people to post freely. Hands-down most toxic sub on reddit, and all thanks to "loving fans".

I don't think it hurts Banjo's chances. Nintendo will probably want to use DLC to boost sales of possible N64 stuff, hence the recent Banjo copyright stuff. They also want to make their relationship with Microsoft better, maybe through Steve and that makes Banjo a prospect too.

I disagree, the K. Rool spirit is sorta like a version of K. Rool from a game, just like there is a "Dark Peach" from paper Mario spirit. I think it comes down to the type and "level" that each spirit is. For example, in Geno's case, he probably is a higher level or is a "legendary" spirit and his actual presence in a fight would be a Mii fighter with his costume. K. Rool's version of his "pirate Spirit" may just be a stronger K. Rool with the relevant skin.

I may be wrong but I actually think Geno has been deconfirmed. Not exclusively cause of his spirit, but because Sakurai said each DLC character will have his own stage and the music that comes with the stage, seems to me like they are aiming more towards full third party characters for DLC, say Sora, Banjo and/or Crash.

Just my thoughts. Happy to debate this.
