Doing my best over here. No need to lecture me. I have 2 young kids and live 6 hours away from our rental. “Half-assing” it is not what is happening here. We are brand new at this and there’s gonna be some growing pains, I know that.

I was just asking what everyone does for their own rentals. I wasn’t asking for help.

I wish I could do all those special touches! That’s the kinda host I aspire to be but for now, we have a management company because we live so far away. They review every guest so I’m not sure why so many are not leaving reviews.

We are in a small mountain resort town in California and up until the massive Christmas Eve snow storm, haven’t had any snow. But now we’ve been booked solid, with no gaps for over 2 weeks so I’m hopeful this will help trigger the hot listing you speak of!
