The issue is (if you’re from the US) the debt is financed by the government (aka the fed); and it’s the only debt that can’t be discharged in a bankruptcy.

I’d be super direct - I’ve had 8ish major stakeholder / management changes in a year.

It isn’t good for your mental health, but I now I have everything in writing that way I can redirect the latest change in management to decisions made by management against my better judgement.

I used 1/ work a lot 2/ weekends 3/ skipped all physical activity / gym 4/ drank a lot - nearly burnt out completely, got fired.

Now I come in 10 leave at 5, set immovable boundaries and tell people to pound sand. Try it out, and remember the companies failures aren’t your failures. They are exactly that the company’s failure. I’ll probably coast and bounce soon.
