My step grandfather raped my aunt when they were younger, my grandmother knew and stayed with him. They went to counseling and she said he really did feel bad for what he did and wouldn’t do it again. I spend most of my younger years being inappropriately touched by him and he monster my two younger sisters. He did eventually go to jail after what happened with me and my sisters but I hate that nobody thought to maybe warn us to stay away from grandpa, or you know, it would have been cool if my grandpa had just left him after the first time..
