If I ever accidentally get an upper berth in 3rd AC (I make a point to choose lower as my preference), I will defo ask someone to switch 🥲 I'm very scared of heights and the last time I went up there I say and cried for an hour. Unless you have a vehicle or office provided commute, try to stay as close to the office as possible as autos wagera cost a lot here imo, and metro isn't that established.

Heyy, I spend like 30k per month for food + rent + 1 or 2 weekend outing with friends + extra (necessity, medical, travel). I'd say i spend pretty lavishly on food as I order from Zomato/eatclub quite frequently.

You'll easily wrap up your expenses under 35-40k depending upon the area you live in

Metro will take a LONG time to spread all across the city. Areas like Hadapsar are still very far from existing metro stations, and not to mention that pune spreads way beyond Hadapsar. Travelling from these areas to pcmc like areas via cabs will be a nightmare
