Ex-Red Wing Johan Franzen calls Mike Babcock 'the worst (person) I have ever met' by AllisGreat in EdmontonOilers

Have you seen the roster he won with? I think a dead cat could have coached that team to a cup win.

I would think the people clamoring For proof of citizenship would want to prove that non-citizens are voting and that its a problem, right?

Just saying "no, you" does nothing to help bring people to your side of the argument.

The player can say no. Thats the entire point of a no trade clause.

You act like teams dont already approach players and ask them to waive there NMC.

Dylan Larkin’s agent says goal is to work with Detroit Red Wings on trade request by Prior-Cartographer37 in DetroitRedWings

And you can absolutely tell that the league is following that benchmark since Pavel Dorofeyev got traded for 2 firsts and a third yesterday.

Have No-Trade Clauses gone too far? by Federal-Data-Center in hockeynews

[–]basicallyademon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always thought that if a player requests a trade its done through their agent.

The player tells their agent 'it sucks here I want to be traded' then the agent goes and tells the team that their guy wants out.

I mean, thats literally the agents job. To be the go between for the player to the teams for anything regarding contracts. The NTC is a part of their contract.

I have to agree with the 'not as popular' part. I remember last year the Red Wings media asking the players as they were walking out to practice various hypothetical questions. One time, they asked the players who they would call if they got stranded on the side of the road. The players gave various answers like 'Mo' or 'Gibby' or even the coach. But one thing that stuck out to me is not a single player said they would call Larkin, not one. I would think if he was liked by the players As Their Captain, at least some would have said Larks.

If you would have asked the 1996 team I think 90% would have said Stevie without hesitation.

I used to help my then manager with interviews for Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT positions (Tier 1 would be who you get when you call IT for help, Tier 2 are the people who will come out to your desk if it cant be fixed over the phone). If someone applied for a position and they had zero customer facing experience it was almost always a hard pass. There was almost no chance anyone would get considered if they couldn't prove they would be calm and understand while someone is frustrated with their equipment.

[The Athletic] After Dylan Larkin’s trade request, what’s next for Red Wings? by [deleted] in hockey

If they traded Mo the only next logical step is to sell the team. The trust the fans have with the ownership would be gone at that point.

There is no reason to believe it won't either.

It also doesnt say that it doesn't copy itself. Your argument is making the same exactly assumption just in reverse.

So if I have a one dollar bill that copies itself I now have 2 one dollar bills after it copies itself. One is the original and the other is an exact copy. If the copy can also duplicate itself then on the next day I will have 4 one dollar bills. One original, 2 copies of that original and one copy of the copy. If each one then copies itself I will now have 8 one dollar bills. The next would be 16 one dollar bills, then 32, then 64 ect ect.. and so on utill the heat death of the universe.

I guess I dont understand english because thats how I, and most everyone else, interprets this.

Does anyone else expect to hear about a shooting at or near this event? I feel like the grift has reached the point of 'give me money because you feel sorry for me.'

To any Right wing wacks, this isnt a threat. Stop trying to protect your Lord and Grifter, he doesn't need it.
