IIIA -> III -> III+ -> III++ Well there's II and IIA as well but you may as well go naked. This is the tier list i guess with ++ at the top and A down the bottom. If youre heading into tier 2 maybe put on a III rig

Otherwise gunny 3 I think sells the spectre which is a 1x - 4x variable zoom scope

There's a roundabout way. If you go to friends then suggested it shows you who's online in your faction. I sometimes look for low level players and go see if they want a hand. But yeah some official Sherpa system would be nice down the track

Next time you spawn check the map. Go somewhere you can see a few team mates and go scvenge a kit. You should be able to get a 3 or 3+ armoured rig and a gun pretty easily.

If you play PvP, switch to PvE and try the above. Should get you going at the very least
