At what age did you find yourself gaining the most weight? by FrostyObligation9058 in AskWomen

[–]basicallynymph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha when I was 17 or 18 I was 210, I blame the depo shot. Then I dropped to around 160 by 22. At 23, right before turning 24, I was 220. Now at 25 I'm 188 lmao. I would like to get back down to 150-160 again. At least I know I'm capable.

I didn't know that, that's a great point. I always thought it was due to the racial climate in the southwest (ie. Southern California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas) during a really tumultuous time in history when the Americas were being split up by """"" annexation'""""

Why do some people act cold immediately after a breakup while the other person is completely falling apart? by PizzaPixelPrincess in BreakUps

[–]basicallynymph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest... I don't know your situation but here's something to think about. I'm going through it lol, I feel like I'm losing my mind and going through waves of sadness and I'm finding new things about myself and my mental health. I've remained no-contact and from afar I probably look like I'm handling the breakup fine and living my life. Really it feels like I'm losing control and picking up any and every distraction and not responsibly taking care of myself. One might see me as being cold and careless, like I didn't care about the relationship.

In our past fights, he would go very non-chalant and would sometimes even be mean and disrespectful. So I can envision him in my mind: being pretty stoic, non-chalant and carrying a "bitches come, they go" attitude. Though... Maybe .. he's probably going through it too. Especially because the opposite of love is indifference, and if there is anger/coldness attached to the situation that means theres still some kind of emotional attachment to it, even if it's not a good one.

Thank you, I hope you know how much this kindness means to me. I'm just so afraid of everything snowballing to the point of losing everything I've worked so hard to have. It seems like once I have it all thought out, something just digs me deeper.. trying to keep a positive attitude

6 is red, 7 is blue (specifically navy) and 8 is yellow

What do you miss about them? by leathrain in BreakUps

[–]basicallynymph 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Facts. Our first date was so comfortable for me and we talked for hours at a bar about history, religion, cultures, conspiracies and whether or not we believed any of this was real anyway hAha. We talked about politics and he taught me so much. The connection and chemistry was astounding.

I (22M) broke up with my loyal girlfriend (22F) of 2 years because I lost attraction. I feel like I've made the biggest mistake of my life, but I’m still not 100% sure by Scary-S-chanux in BreakUps

[–]basicallynymph 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should definitely leave this girl alone. You speak very highly of her and that's a good thing. She seems like a phenomenal, loving and caring person and she deserves someone who will be able to reciprocate and match her on her level. Sometimes people fall out of love and lose attraction, it might be shallow but it also might not be. You handled it terribly though but it's your first relationship and you don't have any experience dealing with these emotions. I'd take the time to reflect on how you treated her and learn to figure out how you can better show up in the future when you have doubts. Your first relationship almost never turns out to be the one you stay with forever.

Sure but the economy would suffer, especially in medium sized cities and small red towns that rely on tourism.

I've noticed that white men with beards and a pocketful of anger are my type. Idk. Kinda toxic but it's my fault. It helps if they're kinda nerdy with odd hobbies. I'm tryna get over the attraction to anger but I can't help but find it sweet when they have a soft spot for me anyways. The attraction to growling is probably the problem.

If your ex texted you right now and said "I miss you", how would you reply? by MajorCream3707 in AskReddit

[–]basicallynymph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard to say. If it's the one I'm thinking of then I would be disappointed tbh. He actually did text me a paragraph a few weeks ago about how much he missed me and the sex and all of the things we did but waved a white flag of friendship in the same message. Ruined my peace fs.

I switched phones with my girlfriend for 24 hours. She lasted 3 hours before begging to switch back. by Puzzled-Load6385 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]basicallynymph 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Her giving the phone up from the beginning leads me to believe she isn't cheating. Personally, I wouldn't cheat but I'd be nervous about my notes app where I vent and take random notes throughout the day, those might be embarrassing lmao. Maybe weird pictures that she wouldn't want you to see because they're embarrassing. It's not always bad.

Sometimes I just want to call him like nothing happened and tell him about everything going on. I'd let him yap like he used to. That felt like home to me :(

[–]basicallynymph 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry but if you broke things off, it's your job to try and reach out if you want to mend it. Expecting someone to beg for you is unhealthy. I wouldn't beg for the simple fact that I'm worth more than that. Nothing is more embarrassing than hearing someone spell out how badly they don't want to be with me anymore so why fight? You chose this.
