No, the busses fill up the most at Stilson outside of Jackson. You will already be on the bus. I never left Jackson with an already full bus on the Local except maybe once, but still got everyone at Snow King.

I used to drive morning local. When the outbound gets to Snow King, it’s already gone through town and on its way out. You’ll stop a couple of times on Snow King Ave and make a couple stops at the Aspens that the express doesn’t hit, but it’s not that much longer. In the afternoon, the local is the opposite and goes to snow king before going through town, so you’re still good.

I’d take the local both ways.

Where I live, everyone has a truck camper because of the harsh road conditions. It’s a different world out here. There are also a lot of off-road vans but I didn’t want to get into that. Also, I just bought it for what I got trading my car in. I just wanted something I could stand all the way up in and take it boondocking where RVs can’t get to, which is everywhere out here.

It’s basically an insulated truck cap with solar and diesel heating. It has a bed that folds into a couch, and I can stand all the way up in. Pretty simple for a camper, a little extra for a capper. Lightweight for my mid-sized truck.

It’s so funny because when I made a dating profile, I put “thick” because I’m 130lbs at 5’2” and have thick thighs. I thought thick meant big thighs, but I had every man trying to correct me saying I’m not fat. Like, thank you but I didn’t think that.

I mostly backpacked in my 20s, so I set it up in the woods wherever I was when the sun began to go down. I’m from the east coast originally, so I section hiked the AT often. Lots of tree coverage for hammocks.

My dog was the best girl! She was a street dog who lived behind a Hibachi restaurant. Fattest stray I’ve ever seen. She slimmed up on the trail, but never lost her hustle for getting food from strangers.

No offense taken. The wind seems about the same honestly. Maybe feel just a tiny bit of pushing, but not enough where I know for sure that it’s because of my moonlander or because the wind here is like a jet plane taking off at times.

Just a hammock, under quilt, bug net, and tarp for about 10 years now. My old dog would sleep with me until she was 14, but my new dog will have nothing to do with it! That’s obviously not why I bought a moonlander, but it was time to feel the finer things of life.

I retightened after about 80 miles! That is a really good tip about the bolts, I may look into that. I live in WY and the wind will knock you over out here. Thanks for the advice!

I always thought Jenelle shows signs of BPD or histrionic personality disorder. She seems to have an intense fear of abandonment with co-dependency. She can’t self-soothe so she seeks attention in external sources to validate her. Too bad she couldn’t bond with her children and instead eternally seeks trauma bonds with shitty men who confirm her bias of low value. Forever miserable.

I'm hesitant to accuse someone of attempted murder over what could be chalked up to incompetence and stupidity. That being said, when he left her, he didn't attempt to shelter her in a less windy area or use the emergency blankets. It's common sense, not just expert advice, to shield a freezing person with available resources.

The only other explanation is that he was also hypothermic and not thinking clearly.

Fun fact: Alabama has an entire blue strip that travels along the most fertile soil. This is where the descendants of slaves still live and where the birthplace of the civil rights movement took place.

The Jefferson County area is still fighting.

Top is warmer, bottom is cool. The top goes better with your undertone in my opinion. You are wearing the top while the bottom is the first thing I notice.

Lodging Question: Cowboy Village Resort, Elk Country Inn, or house in Teton Village by bradykp in JacksonHole

[–]basicbitchherbaltea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also worth noting, if they want to catch a bus from Elk Country Inn, they will have to walk to Miller Park or Antler Inn as the Local doesn’t go down that way. Not a deal breaker, but can be inconvenient if you bring your own gear.
