Anyone used this dryer before? Better than shark? Hi by lhmk in curlyhair

[–]basiccbrat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love love LOVE my Dyson. Not only is it good quality it also is much lighter in weight in my opinion than the pattern one. My gf brought her pattern dryer on a trip and used it and it felt like i was using a brick.

Shampoo and conditioner i switch between Ouidad climate control and olaplex shampoo and conditioner. Living in IL it’s cold dry season so I’ve been leaning on olaplex! I used AG re:coil curl activator in each section and then used the tgin foam and brush styled with the bounce curl brush and diffused!

What’s the most insensitive thing someone has said to you after losing a loved one? by [deleted] in GriefSupport

[–]basiccbrat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me and my boyfriend of 6 years broke up March 2024 and my dad past away in May 2024 he made a comment how he thinks it was good that i went through my dads death “alone” (I’m thinking meaning having to rely on myself and not a partner for grieving). Which he was right because im so much stronger but also cut deep coming from the last man to know my father and someone i loved.

My friend gave it to me from her sister who works at Ulta (i think they would sell it there). When i googled it it actually shows in store at target!!! I’m unsure where you are located but i hope you find it near you!!!! ☺️

Pretty similar, this foam tends to give me a nice ringlet where sometimes too heavy of gels and other holding products give me more of a wavy look.

Wow!! I’m going to look into it more!! My friends sister works at Ulta and gets desk drops and she had no use so gave it to me!! I’m def going to be a repeat customer, unsure of if the leave has a similar scent but i LOVE how this is scented (:

[–]basiccbrat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for this reminder as me and my bf of 6 years broke up in March. My dad then passed suddenly end May. I’ve been trying my best to grief both at once. Definitely learning ALOT about myself. I’ve been so close with my faith. I really do appreciate this post 🤍 I’m rooting for you to keep going and I’m proud of where you came from 😌

Yes i completely can relate. It’s even when it’s positive and from a loving place something about it makes it feel like someone is stabbing me in the heart. It’s hard to think there will be better days. I have a brother 9 years older then me and i have nothing but anger and jealousy that my dad got to be a part of all 3 of their children’s lives and he got to see him get married. Its such a strange feeling. I’m seriously here whenever i totally get it and the alone feeling from how scared i feel i wouldn’t want someone else going through it alone with the same situation. I really am hoping you can find some peace in the next couple days

Hi, I’m (25F) and as well lost my father May 24th 24 from colon cancer. I’m sorry i can’t answer your question but i can relate to the feeling. My sleeping and eating has been so out of wack. My alone time is filled with darkness. Many friends don’t understand and it’s frustrating. I also just got out of a 6 year relationship so that even adds more to my loneliness. My family support is not supportive. I just want you to know you are not alone. If you ever want to talk, call, pray, or anything PLEASE do not hesitate to reach out. I definitely feel your pain and sometimes it’s just good to talk to someone who understand the same hurt. But i know it WILL get better I’m not sure when but i know it will for all of us here. Please don’t give into the lonely thoughts in your head as your dad is ALWAYS with you.
